2. The aluminum layer in the manufacture should be welded only butt.
3. The appearance of the pipes should not have any mechanical damage or signs of delamination.

Carrying out the installation of metal-plastic pipes with your own hands, first of all, it is necessary to draw a communication flow diagram that needs to be replaced. Also on this diagram, in addition to the total length, connecting places, angles and bends are indicated. This scheme will be needed to acquire the necessary material (pipe, threaded fittings), and only after that the installation of metal-plastic pipes begins. The rules are easy to remember.

Installation of metal-plastic pipes with the help of threaded fittings greatly facilitates the work, since no threads need to be cut, and the connection is very easy and quick. In order to cut the metal-plastic pipe, it is necessary to use special scissors that ensure the edges are even without damaging the plastic layer. If you don’t have such scissors, you can use an ordinary hacksaw for metal, after which you should carefully examine the edge of the cut in order to remove all burrs. The main thing is that the cut is absolutely even, and there are no visible delaminations on it. To seal fittings, only rubber o-rings must be used and in no case use plastic for this purpose. The nut of the connection of metal-plastic pipes must be tightened with moderate force, so as not to break the thread.
