Society is a structural unit of human life. The definition of society can be given both in a broad sense and in a narrow one. But from this, it does not lose its main function: here a person lives and develops, improves his knowledge and gets acquainted with new people. In a word, it is in this cell of life that a person socializes.
The definition of society and its classification
Society in the narrow sense is a circle of people who are united on the basis of common interests or origin. Classes, for example, nobles, can be attributed to this type. Also in the narrow sense, it is understood as a separate concrete society - for example, modern Russia. This stage also includes the stage of development of a state, for example, feudal society. Oddly enough, but all of humanity as a whole is also attributed to society in a narrow sense.
The definition of society in the broad sense is as follows: it is a part of the world that is closely connected with nature or a form of association of people.

As for the classification, usually there are three stages of development: traditional, industrial and post-industrial society. The latter is most often called simply informational. A traditional society is a society based on traditions. Here subsistence farming and in kind exchange prevail, the economic system is a command system. This type is characterized by high religiosity and a low possibility of social mobility. The state completely absorbs the personality. Thinking is always conservative, and the attitude towards transformation is always negative. The next stage of development is an industrial society. This Western model of building relationships has come to countries thanks to technical revolutions and industrial upheavals. It is characterized by a spasmodic development process, private property is the basis of the economy, and society itself seeks to rule over nature. In most countries, civil society is emerging and social mobility is increasing. The last stage of development is the post-industrial stage, or informational. The definition of the information society is as follows: it is a type of society based on information and the service sector.
As a rule, these types develop in an evolutionary way. The economic system is most often market-based, civil principles, a high level of legal culture and legal awareness are actively promoted in society itself. A person in society develops and seeks to influence power. Its main features are high social mobility and the predominant role of education.
The definition of society in the economic system is most often associated with joint-stock education. This is a form of economic structure of the company. A joint stock company, the definition of which can be found in textbooks of economics, is based on the division of shares between participants.
So, society, in whatever sense this term is used, is always a group of people. This is part of nature in which a person develops and achieves success.
