Every year, gamers around the world expect some projects to be published. Of course, game developers indulge their customers with just innumerable different projects, but at the same time many of them are "on the fan". It is unlikely that anyone whose strategies always cause rejection will begin to play in the new development of this genre. However, it should be noted that there are always a couple of games that are expected by absolutely everyone. These are potential masterpieces, the release of which was announced much in advance, so fans of the series or just lovers of the genre mark the indicated day in their calendars with a red marker. Last year, GTA 5 also belonged to such games - a continuation of the legendary series. Great hopes were pinned on him, but, unfortunately, not everyone could get acquainted with this project.
Limited edition

In September 2013, it became clear that PC users may not yet wonder what GTA 5 system requirements will be upon release. The fact is that the game was published, but only on the platforms “X-box” and “Play Station”. The long-awaited release bypassed personal computers, leaving fans in a misunderstanding and, of course, in anger. Resentment raged at the developer company, but then the passions calmed down a bit. Indeed, many developers first release the game on one platform, and then port it to others - gamers thought that the same situation could happen with GTA-5. But after a couple of months it became clear that their expectations were futile - the game developers were reckless to report that the release of a new part of GTA on personal computers was not planned at all. Naturally, this caused a new wave of discontent, because the percentage of gamers who own a PC is very high, and they were completely unsatisfied. What are the GTA 5 system requirements here - at least get a cherished game, try it in practice, which the developers wanted to deprive them of.
Hope to PC
But in the end, the situation was resolved, as the developers quickly realized what a huge audience they were losing without gaining anything in return, and it was soon announced that GTA 5 would still appear on the PC, but with an impressive delay. If the version for consoles appeared on sale in September 2013, then the release of the computer version is scheduled for autumn 2014. Not much time was left before the release, so the GTA 5 system requirements were voiced, and the players got the opportunity to evaluate them and compare with what they already have. If you have not updated your PC for a couple of years, then you will have to spend money, since on older models this game is unlikely to work. Of course, it was developed on the engine of the fourth part of the GTA, but it was seriously redesigned externally, so computer performance would require more impressive. In general, the
GTA 5 system requirements cannot be called transcendental, but you can’t call them average either. For greater accuracy, they should be considered in more detail, both the minimum requirements and recommended ones.
Optimal operating system
First of all, attention should be paid to the operating system, both for all other games, and for GTA 5 PC. System requirements even always begin precisely with the indication of the most suitable OS, and in this case everything is just that. The minimum requirements are Windows Vista, and the recommended ones, in addition to this version of the operating system, also include Windows 7 and 8. This means that owners of the XP version will not be able to afford the pleasure of playing the new version of GTA. This can be a pretty big problem, as many have not parted with this OS, although it has been around for quite some years. But there is already a problem with the users themselves, who do not want to break the habit and try new things. If they still do not reinstall a newer version of the system, then they will not be able to play GTA 5 - the requirements for the PC have a strict limitation.
Which processor do you need?
Not the most important, but still quite relevant point when buying a game is the processor on which the computer is running. In the restrictions this item is most often indicated, then gamers have long understood that a slight discrepancy in it does not particularly harm the game process, unlike other key aspects. If we look directly at GTA 5, the minimum system requirements for the processor are 2.4 GHz for Pentium, and 2.8 GHz for Athlone. Accordingly, when the recommended requirements are considered, the bar rises, and the Pentium requirements become equal to 2.8 GHz, and the Athlone - 3.6 GHz. The number of cores that your processor should have is not subject to discussion - now they almost do not release games that support single-core computers. So you need at least two, and preferably four cores, to play GTA-5 quietly.
The most important aspect is RAM
If the
processor frequency is not so important when buying games, then RAM is what you need to look at first. So if you are interested in what GTA 5 system requirements, then first of all pay attention to this parameter. The memory may also be marked as RAM or RAM. So, to run GTA-5 in general, you need two gigabytes of RAM, but if you want the game to run without brakes and glitches smoothly and smoothly, make sure that you have at least 6 gigabytes of RAM. In general, 6 GB is the memory that every gamer should have now, since all top games will require just as much, sometimes even in the column of minimum indicators.
Required graphics card

In modern games, much emphasis is placed on the visual component, so your video card can play a very big role. If you have six gigabytes of RAM, but still an old video card, then do not hope to launch a new game, as this will simply be impossible. It’s worth noting that the old cards support DirectX versions 9 and 10, while most modern games require the card to be compatible with the “direct” version eleven. This is not related to the version for the X-box or GTA 5 PS3, the system requirements of which are adapted to the capabilities of the console, but for the PC version it is very important. Although specifically now, developers are claiming that even cards with support for the “direct” tenth version will be able to reproduce a picture of the new GTA. But it is still recommended that your card support the eleventh version, and you have the latest updates installed. As for the video memory, you should have at least 512 megabytes of it, but the recommended requirements include one gigabyte, which will be much better.
How much space will the game take?
The question of how much disk space the game will occupy has recently not been particularly acute. Hard drives of incredible sizes are now available, and games in any case do not exceed 50-70 gigabytes in the most extreme cases. Most often, 20-30 GB is required, and this despite the fact that almost all hard drives are already designed for at least one terabyte. "GTA-5" roughly fits into the standard requirements - to install it you will need 32 gigabytes of free space.
Extra options
It is worth paying attention to what devices you still need to play in the new version of "GTA". First of all, you need to have a sound card and speakers or headphones to play sounds. But if you can play without sound, then without a keyboard and mouse you can’t. You will also need a disk drive if you are buying a disk, not a digital version of the game, and a controller if you want to fully experience all the delights of "GTA-5."
