By the end of next winter, some of the work was resumed. The construction of the station complex itself and revolving dead ends continued until August. And by the end of the year most of the work was completed. The interior decoration and installation of a ventilation and video surveillance system began. A new date for the opening of the Kotelniki metro station was approximately set. It was planned to be held in the spring of 2015. However, due to failure to meet deadlines, the new Kotelniki metro station did not work. The opening, the date of which was appointed first for March, and then for May, had to be postponed again.

Station architectural features
Kotelniki Station is located at a depth of approximately 15 meters. It is reported that her style will represent the main traditions of the Stalinist Empire. This is, first of all, a straight ceiling and rounded columns. In terms of design, it is similar to the neighboring Zhulebino station. Architects refused bright colors, replacing them with cleaner and calmer ones. So, the walls are decorated with grayish-yellow marble with elements of copper shades. The floor is finished mainly in red granite.
The station is equipped with two underground halls, each of which will have two exits. Vostochny will be located on both sides of the Novoryazanskoye highway, where it is planned to build a transport hub.
Near the station will be built parking for cars and public transport with a capacity of about two hundred places.
Equipment and machinery

Seven of these models were purchased for the station. New devices combine an increased level of security and a long service life of up to 50 years.

Further construction
The station is also notable for the fact that one of its exits is located within the capital, and the other - in the territory of the Kotelniki settlement near Moscow, in the area of the Experimental Field. After its surrender, the authorities intend to build the Rumyantsevo and Salaryevo stations on nearby lands. And when the Kotelniki metro will be opened in Moscow, it is planned to create a transportation hub for many buses operating in long-distance directions. It will be located between the station and Novoryazanskoye highway.
Kotelniki station is well located - not far from residential areas. Its opening will allow the authorities to refuse some land transport flights.
