As you know, Asia is part of the largest continent in the world. Her fauna and flora are very diverse. A great many living creatures live in Asia, which can only be found in this part of the mainland. In addition to the famous elephants, Ussuri tigers and bears, there are very unusual and rare representatives of the fauna, for example, peacock, panda and sable. Many animals of Asia, as well as plants growing in this territory, are on the verge of extinction. However, various events are already being held to help increase their numbers. In Russia, various reserves have long existed, where a large number of animals and representatives of the plant world can feel safe, for example, a tiger or a sable. It is known that Asia occupies vast territories, therefore it is customary to divide it into several parts. But which animals live in Asia?
West Asia
In the west of Asia, the Caucasus and the Near-Asian highlands are located. More than 550 plants grow there. For example, oaks and hornbeams are common, ash, wormwood, cereals and feather grass are also common. The following animals of Asia are not very extensive, but favorable for living, (the list is presented below). Antelopes, roe deer, goats, foxes, as well as a huge number of rodents that live comfortably here - these are the most common animals of Asia in this region. In the lowlands you can find wild boars, pheasants, geese, tigers and leopards. In general, we can say that representatives of the animal world do not have large sizes.
North asia
Asia, namely its northern region, is located in Russia. Due to its vast territory, it is often subdivided into Northeast Siberia and the tundra. However, sharing can be done in different ways. In Siberia it is easy to meet a wolf, an elk, a bear, a ground squirrel and other representatives of animals of Asia. In the tundra there are more cold-loving animals, for example, arctic fox, deer and wolverine. In addition to them you can meet a bear, as well as a lynx.
Taiga is a coniferous forest; spruce, fir, larch, cedar and other plants can be distinguished among representatives of the fauna. They grow throughout North Asia, but their density depends on part of the area.
Here live animals that are on the verge of extinction, for example, ermine and arctic fox. To a greater extent this is the fault of the man who killed them for the sake of hides and fur. Every year, measures are taken that help to increase the population of these representatives of the animal world.
North Asia can also be roughly divided into areas in which forests and plains grow densely without large plants. Flying squirrels, chipmunks and some birds live in the first area. Sable, sheep and other animals of Asia are found in the steppe. The harsh climate of this area makes it necessary to adapt, for example, remember the white hare, which boasts its ability to disguise itself.
middle Asia
Central Asia as a whole represents meadows on which exclusively grasses grow. Lack of proper moisture does not allow larger plants to survive. Animals that also do not have enough food are quite small in size. For example, in the deserts you can find gophers, snakes, jerboas, rodents and other reptiles. Birds mainly hunt for all of the above, they are predators and the top of the food chain in this area. Almost all animals have been living in Central Asia since ancient times, and therefore are not much like fellow animals from the southern regions, and even more so the northern ones.
In small oases, which are nevertheless sometimes found, small birds live, for example, starling and cheese roll. You can also distinguish areas near ponds and foothills, which are more supplied with moisture due to the retention of clouds.
South asia
In order to understand the nature of South Asia, it is enough to indicate the location of a country such as India in this area. Everyone knows about Mowgli, a boy from a fairy tale of the same name, who lives there. Water buffalo, wild boars, lemurs, lizards, wolves, leopards and elephants are not uncommon for this area.
In general, South Asia is simply replete with diverse representatives of the fauna. Snakes are represented in large numbers. You can meet all the famous peacock and flamingos. Sharks and tropical fish are found in the Indian Ocean.
You may notice that the more favorable the nature of the area, the more diverse the animals and plants of Asia, although this is not surprising.
East Asia
In eastern Asia, there are not many obvious endemic species, that is, animals or plants that are found only in this area. Representatives of all latitudes feel comfortable in a rather elongated territory of East Asia. You can easily find both moose, bears, Ussuri tigers and wolves, as well as ibises, mandarin ducks and owls. In mountainous areas, which are also large in number, antelopes, mountain sheep and other representatives of the animal world of Asia live.
Schools of fish are found in the seas. Giant salamanders, various snakes and frogs live on numerous islands. On the coast you can find crustaceans. In addition, there are many birds throughout East Asia.

The beautiful nature of such a part of the world as Asia, whose animals and plants are numerous, has its own uniqueness. Endemic and endangered species are found here. It is necessary to preserve beautiful areas of animals and plants that are on the verge of extinction. Asia deserves to be visited.
