We all know very well that an identification number is such a thing that a citizen cannot do without. At the same time, it doesn’t matter who they are talking about: an individual or an individual entrepreneur - everyone must have this code. This is stated in Article 84 of the Tax Code (in particular, paragraph seven of this article).
Now let's talk about the design procedure. Firstly, in order to
get an identification number, you need to prepare documents. Rather, only one: a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. But in addition to the original, you must also make photocopies of certain (2nd, 3rd and 5th) pages. You will definitely need to write a statement of the established form with your own hand. Alternatively, you can simply fill out a pre-printed form. As a matter of fact, this is the first stage of the registration procedure completed. It remains only to come to your tax office and transfer the above documents so that after 5 days (or earlier) come and get a ready identification code.
There is another feature of the receipt, which not everyone knows about. After assigning a number, you can apply for entering it in a civil passport. For this purpose, two documents must be submitted to the tax service (at the place of registration): TIN and passport of a Russian citizen. Information is entered on the 18th page of the last. Why is this needed? Firstly, it is very convenient. As you know, an identification number is needed everywhere: both when paying for a loan at a bank, and when applying for a job. In order not to carry evidence everywhere, you can simply enter the cherished twelve digits into the citizen’s main document. It should be noted: such a mark by domestic law is not among the mandatory. Although it is authorized, you should not make it yourself. After all, any illegal entry or mark automatically makes the passport invalid.
Now let's talk about
how to get an identification code for an
individual entrepreneur (IP). Here he has two options. The first is to get the number in parallel with the assignment of IP status. The second - at any time, but until the moment when registration as an individual entrepreneur has been carried out. In the future, the
received TIN is required to be indicated at the conclusion of any contracts. In addition, it should also be located on the seal. Unless, of course, the entrepreneur has it at all.
Go to the "denial"It should also be remembered that citizens are not required to obtain an identification number: this procedure is purely voluntary. Therefore, if it suddenly turns out that such a number was assigned to you without any reason (and without writing the corresponding statement), then you can refuse it. There have also been cases when individuals refused a received number. Naturally, this did not have any harmful legal consequences for them.
