The laying of water supply and sewage is an integral part of the repair and construction work. For the correct and technically competent installation, a design scheme of engineering communication is drawn up.
As a rule, the construction of a water supply system in a private house begins with an input tap. After that, a dirt filter is installed, then a check valve, then a counter showing the water flow, a tee, then two taps on the highway. It will turn out two water branches. As a rule, two highways are enough for a one-story building.
Laying the water supply system includes connecting the toilet flush tank, equipment for heating water, faucets for the kitchen sink and bathroom, and a washing machine.
It is recommended to connect mixers to different highways. In case of repair of one branch, this will allow continued use of water. Repair can take several hours, or even a whole day. Experts recommend installing valves on cold and hot water in front of each mixer. In this case, the repair will practically not affect the availability of water.
Laying the water supply involves the use of special tools and devices. In particular, you will need taps, fittings, a dirt filter, fasteners, thermal insulation for pipes, a check valve. The water supply is laid using metal pipes with a diameter of twenty-five millimeters for passage in the wall openings. The length will depend on the thickness of the wall. To drill holes in the wall, you will need a drill with a percussion mechanism, a
pobedit drill (six millimeters), a knife for cutting pipes from metal plastic, a gas and
adjustable wrench, a perforator and a drill.
Water pipe installation today is carried out using metal-plastic pipes. To create connections, a special soldering iron for metal plastic is used.
Before purchasing material, it is necessary to make certain calculations. To do this, you need to decide exactly how the highways will go. Then, using a tape measure, you should measure the distance between the walls where the pipes are supposed to pass. After measurements, all distances add up. About three more meters of pipe are added to the result, in reserve. As a rule, the sixteenth metal-plastic pipe is used.
Water pipe installation involves the use of fittings. They are different. Calculating their exact number is complicated. This is due to the fact that in the process some of them may not be useful or something, on the contrary, will have to be purchased.
Important details of the water supply are taps. As a rule, traditional bronze or ball valves are used, the diameter of which is fifteen millimeters.
Water pipe laying is carried out using heat-insulating material. It prevents the formation of condensation, which can create serious problems.
Fastening of pipes is carried out by means of clamps. These devices, in turn, are fixed with the help of “driven” ones - sets of steel self-tapping screw and plastic dowel.
