A visa to Turkey for Russians has ceased to be necessary if they want to go to this country for a short time - up to a month. That is, in the case when you intend to see the brilliant Istanbul and go through its museums and mosques, take a swim on world famous beaches or go skiing, go to visit friends or at a business conference, you should not worry in advance. But when planning a longer visit, you will have to draw up the necessary documents. This can be done in three cities - Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan. There are consular departments of the embassy.

But even if you have a visa to Turkey open, you still canβt stay in this country for more than three months. For several entrances and exits, it should be remembered that the validity of these 90 days is for one half year. The process of crossing the border is simplified to impossibility. Of course, you need to present a valid passport to travel to another country. The rules require you to have a hotel reservation or travel voucher with you, as well as at least three hundred US dollars, although the last two points are practically not checked.
Keep in mind that even those who do not need a visa to Turkey should have a lot of space in their passport (at least it is necessary that one fourth of the page is blank) - then the border guards can put entry and exit stamps. Oddly enough, this is a very serious requirement: if there is no free space for stamps, you simply will not be allowed into the country. If you leave later than expected, you will face a fine, which will have to be paid when leaving Turkey. You have the right to refuse to pay, but then you will be punished with a five-year ban on entry.

Not all residents of the former republics of the Soviet Union when applying for permission to access the country have the same conditions as the Russians. Some people are very loyal - for example, Georgian citizens can stay here without a stamp in their passports for up to three months. To Uzbeks, Kazakhs, Tajiks, Turkmens and Azerbaijanis, a visa to Turkey is issued for a long period exceeding a month. But the Armenians and Moldavians should receive permission for a single entry, even for a month. Ukrainians can stay without a visa stamp in the country for up to 30 days once, and up to 90 - with multiple entries.
It happens that a person comes to the country as a tourist or on business, but gets into circumstances when he needs to stay. For example, when the negotiations dragged on, or I wanted to visit several tourist areas at once and examine everything. In such cases, a visa to Turkey can be extended locally for up to three months. However, such an exception is made only once a year, in the event that a tourist or businessman makes a special application to the department for foreigners, shows documents that he has enough money to live so much time, and will pay permission
.
The work visa to Turkey differs from others, which takes about two months.
This is a rather complicated process, because, in addition to the usual package of documents, you will need to provide the original contract with a Turkish partner or employer.
And this organization or company is obliged, in turn, to prove to its Ministry of Labor that you are a specialist whom they are not able to find in Turkey.
And only in this case you will receive a work permit. And since all this requires requests, letters and other bureaucratic delays, the design is very delayed. However, the law requires that everything be decided within a maximum of three months.
