The nest is obtained in the form of a very strong and durable bowl, because the process of laying eggs is very important for the birds.
Clutch mainly contains 4 eggs. Hatching lasts up to two weeks, and during this period the male takes care of his companion, brings her food and material for warming the nest. Chicks that were born feed mainly on insects, which their parents deliver to them. After growing up, the chicks fly away from the nest, gather in a flock of nomads and leave their native places. And parents again begin to prepare for the appearance of new offspring.
Zelenushka - a bird is very cautious, shy and incredulous, so it does not often fall into the clutches of predators. In the same way, it is difficult and hard for photographers. If you analyze photographs of birds in Russia, you can see that photos of this bird are quite rare. A nimble and brisk greenfinch very rarely agrees to a photo shoot. Despite this, such birds are often kept at home in cages as pets. They become great friends for both children and their parents.
