Evgenia Mikhailova was born in the city of Bila Tserkva. She also graduated from school in Ukraine, but received higher education in Moscow. The future writer is a journalist by profession, she graduated from Moscow State University. For several years, Evgenia Mikhailova worked as an editor, has rich experience in the field of journalistic investigations. She dedicated her publications to innocently convicted and inmates of orphanages. The heroes of her articles were victims of injustice and lawlessness. Today, the writer is a member of the Union of Professional Writers of Russia.

Instead of a film set and communicating with bright and interesting personalities, she finds herself in the gloomy walls of the hospital, where her unhappy, doomed to loneliness people become her interlocutors.
"Confess on the edge"
The denouement in this work takes place on the first pages. In one of the apartments on Vernadsky Avenue, a wild inhuman cry is heard. Ten to fifteen minutes later, a police squad arrives, but even an experienced law enforcement officer cannot hide his excitement. He had witnessed violent crimes more than once, but the victims were, as a rule, adults. Here a terrible picture revealed to the eyes of the policeman: in the middle of the room a woman stood on her knees and pressed the body of the decapitated child to her chest.
The woman's name was Vera. She strictly forbade her eight-year-old daughter to open the door. Before the parents returned, the neighbors knew that it was useless to call the apartment: no one would open it. But that day the girl opened. Why?
