Running shoes

If you decide to go in for jogging, then the first thing you need to do is take care of the shoes. It is best to purchase special running shoes. If the shoes are not chosen correctly, then instead of the expected result, you can get the opposite effect and only harm your health, because when you run, the spine and the whole human body are under a lot of stress, and wrong shoes will cause the joints and intervertebral discs to experience shock.

Sneakers for running have heel and toe shock absorbers, significantly reducing the load on the foot when transferring weight from the heel to the toe. In addition, good shock absorbers improve repulsion and increase speed, therefore, when buying sneakers for jogging, you need to carefully approach their choice.

The main criterion when buying running shoes is their ability to cushion. Scientific laboratories have developed various shock absorbers for the heel - these are special split heels, small ingenious springs and airbags. Shock absorbers made using modern Air technology are a cavity inside the sole, filled with gas under pressure, the so-called gel pad. Air sneakers from Nike using this technology are called twentieth-century legend and are compared to the invention of the telegraph.

Running shoes designed to be lightweight, comfortable and durable. They should sit tight on the leg, so you need to choose only sneakers with lacing and not any Velcro! To test the sneakers for strength, you need to fold them in half with lacing inward and examine the folds on the sole and the strength of the adhesive layer. The sole should not be even, and its thickness should not be less than eight millimeters. Running shoes for men, as well as for women, usually have a small height, a nose gently bending upwards and a slight rise in the heel area.

If you plan to run on asphalt, you need to choose a grooved sole, and for running over rough terrain, a coarser sole with grooves is more suitable. This sole clings better to the ground and does not slip. It is important that the front of the sole is with an insert to soften the blows, and the arch of the foot must be with flexibility grooves and have a rigid bar - arch support.

It is better to choose sneakers made of natural materials - leather, cotton and special mesh. The material used to make the top of the sneakers must be not only soft, breathable and durable, but also waterproof so that the feet remain dry in wet weather.

In running sneakers, the insoles are removable and, for greater fit, the feet have a slight thickening. Such insoles not only do not allow shoes to dangle on the foot, but also have a shock-absorbing effect, reducing the load on the joints and spine. It is best to use antibacterial insoles with special ventilation openings that allow your legs to breathe and help get rid of bad smell.

Running shoes need proper care. After each exit to the street they need to be dried by removing the insole and bending the tongue, and if necessary, wash. You can also wash it in the machine, but it is better to do it manually so as not to spoil the shoes and equipment. Drying sneakers is recommended at room temperature. You can use a special line for the care of sneakers - talc, impregnation, deodorant. Sneakers made of genuine leather cannot be washed.

Designers are constantly working on improving sneakers and are developing new types of shock absorbers. One of the latest improvements was the introduction of differences between women's and men's sneakers, that is, targeting consumers of a certain age and gender. Men's running sneakers differ from womenโ€™s in not only decorative decoration, but they also have structural differences.

Today, sneakers, thanks to the German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, become a fashionable part of the toilet and conquer the catwalks. Such sneakers are certainly not cheap at all. Many rock stars and television stars love to flaunt them. But still, the main purpose of the sneakers is sports.
