- Open the Steam client - click on the library - click on the Dota 2 icon and select "Properties".
- Before us is a window with a text field, into which you need to enter "- console" (without quotes and space) - click OK.
- We start the game Dota.
- We will use the command line hotkey "\" (it can always be changed).
- Enter "con_enable1" (without quotes and with a space before the unit).
- We exit the game and remove the value "- console", which was set earlier, from the text box. This is done so that every time the game starts, the console does not appear automatically.
