Stanley Park is a vast territory with a total area of approximately 405 hectares, which is almost untouched by humans. Walking paths for visitors were arranged here. Particular attention was paid to the construction of a dam protecting the park from storms. In 2006, one of the strongest storms occurred that destroyed a significant part of Stanley Park. Later it was restored and the dam was strengthened in order to avoid new damage.

The park has beautiful picturesque nature, with lakes and mountains. Currently, it grows about half a million different trees. Some of them reach a height of 80 meters. Also here you can find a wide variety of shrubs and other plants. The park is home to more than 200 species of birds, a special pride is a rare blue heron. Near the lakes you can find beavers, and in the forest more often - rabbits, coyotes and raccoons.
In the aquarium, guests of the park can see dolphins, whales, seals and fur seals. Museum pavilions are also open to introduce visitors to the history, flora and fauna of these places.
