Warming the house is an unusually important task. By choosing the right material, you can significantly reduce heating costs. Recently, mineral wool is most often used for this purpose. However, progress does not stand still, and manufacturers are developing more and more new materials. The most interesting of all invented recently, can be considered foam, the characteristics of which allow it to be used to warm buildings with greater success than the same mineral wool.

This insulation not only perfectly retains heat, but, as already mentioned above, perfectly resists moisture. The board retains its excellent performance characteristics even with very prolonged direct contact with water at any temperature. The highest degree of mechanical strength is another interesting property of a material such as foam.

Its characteristics in this regard are simply impressive. The material marked with the number 45 can carry a load of up to 65 t / m 2 without harm to itself. This allows you to use it when installing a railway track and roads.

If we talk about thermal conductivity itself, then the most excellent performance characteristics in this regard have become possible due to the fact that this material has a cellular structure. The degree of thermal conductivity in this case directly depends on the density of the foam material. The characteristics in this regard are practically unchanged with increasing thickness of the material. This is due to the peculiarities of its structure. The level of thermal conductivity, depending on the density, can thus be 0.025-0.03 W / mK.
