Popular sources do not have much information about the biography of the writer. It is known that Cynthia Eden was born in the United States, probably in Alabama.
She graduated from the University of South Alabama, where she studied sociology and public relations, while writing articles for a local magazine. After graduating with honors, Cynthia Eden changed several professions: she worked as a teacher, consultant in college, and editor at a publishing house.
Eden's professional career as a writer began in 2005, when the first publication of her book took place. It was a Bite of the Wolf novel (not officially published in Russian, but the name can be translated as “Wolf Bite”).
Currently, Cynthia Eden’s books are considered bestsellers by such authoritative publications as The New York Times, USA Today, and others.

Currently, about 30 novels by the writer have been published in English, but not all of Cynthia Eden's books are officially translated into Russian. Among them, only a few works, including novels, are included in the Midnight trilogy.
The first in a three-part series is the book, “It's Getting Hotter After Midnight,” written in 2008. The main character is a practicing psychotherapist Emily Drake. Her patients are not ordinary people with mental disorders, but dangerous mystical creatures: vampires, demons, and others. Emily once meets a werewolf policeman named Colin Geet.
Despite the fact that Cynthia Eden’s book “It gets hotter after midnight” is positioned as a paranormal romance novel, in addition to the romantic line, there is also a detective story, because Colin will have to investigate the mysterious murder.
The second book of the Sins of Midnight trilogy tells a different story. This time, Kara Meloan, who becomes the main suspect in a series of brutal murders, is at the center of events.
The protagonist of the third part of “The Owner of Midnight” is the demon Niall Leipen, whom journalist Holly Storm asks for help in another investigation.

This novel was written in 2012. This time the plot is built around the Greek god Apollo. He and other deities have been living on Mount Olympus for several millennia, and people do not remember them at all.
The life of the sun god changes at the moment when Apollo meets Theresa Lafitt. He is not even afraid of the dangerous fact that the girl is a convert vampire and thirsts for blood. But what is mortal danger to the omnipotent Greek god? At some point, another vampire appears - the former young man of Theresa, and Apollo has to use all his strength to protect the girl.

Cynthia Eden is a laureate of many literary awards. For the novel “Deadly Fear”, she was awarded the RITA Award - the most outstanding award awarded to authors for works in the genre of romantic fiction.
