The composition of shallots has similarities with onions, but differs from it by the presence of ascorbic acid and a large number of volatile products that have a therapeutic effect on the body.

An unusual appearance is also interesting, such as a chicken poultry, better known as Mongolian onion, Indian onion, Chinese onion, or hellish root. This is a perennial bulbous plant with healing properties and, moreover, flowering. It can often be seen on personal plots, and even on the windowsills of apartments. Its leaves and juice are used for diseases of the joints, as well as for runny nose, cough and as a bactericidal wound healing agent. Doctors often prescribe Indian onions in the treatment of cancer.

All types of onions are very useful for human health, because they contain not only vitamins, but also volatile, substances that have an antimicrobial effect. Therefore, during an exacerbation of viral-colds, many people add fresh onions to their food. In addition, onions favorably affect the activity of the gastrointestinal tract, reliably protects a person from flu, colds, and strengthens the immune system.
