Next, we put them on a red cloth, folded four times, and outlines. At the edges we leave one more centimeter of fabric for stitching. Cut out the details with sharp scissors.
Foam rubber is placed in the middle between pieces of matter and sewn in a circle. So we design the front and back of the Tomato costume. Parts of the dress are sewn together so that the neck and openings for the hands remain open. On the front part, an application of a cheerful muzzle of a vegetable is made, if desired. It remains to sew a hat. They make it from diamond-shaped wedges sewn together. At the top attach a sprig of the stalk. Under the suit you can put on just dark trousers and a white turtleneck or shirt.

T-shirt Tomato outfit
If dad has an old red T-shirt in his wardrobe , you can make a beautiful Tomato costume for the boy with your own hands from it. First of all, you need to pick up a collar in order to reduce the neck, and roll up sleeves on the shoulders and hem several centimeters. The bottom of the t-shirt rolls up and a rubber band hangs in. It remains to fill the middle with filler. The last detail of the costume will be the manufacture of a hat. Make it from a piece of a knitted t-shirt. For this, a strip of matter is cut out and, wrapping around the head, the edges are sewn together. It turns out a "pipe", the upper part of which must be pulled together and stitched in the center. To not stand out the seam, decorate the hat with leaves. They are made according to the same pattern as for the collar.
Sew them in such a way that the leaves look in different directions. The bottom can not be turned up, as the knitwear will remain in good shape for a long time and the edge will not crumble. In any case, such a hat will withstand the triumph to the end.
