For the New Year and Christmas holidays, people always make many different crafts and souvenirs. And every year we are visited by more and more new ideas that I want to translate into reality. However, many of them are not so new. One of them is a Christmas angel. With your own hands, creating an image of an angel is quite simple, you just need to be patient and call on imagination to help. There are a lot of options for making a cute souvenir. Let's consider some of them.
DIY Angels: a master class
For the manufacture of this angel does not require any complex tools or materials. To make one (but usually they don’t stop on one copy, but do several at once), you need to take:
cotton pads - 2 pcs.;
scissors;
white threads;
We need scissors to cut the threads, which, by the way, will require very little. You can thread the needle in advance.
Preparatory stage
So, we divide the cotton disk into two parts - it turns out from one circle two thin ones. To make an angel, we need three thin disks.
From the first we make wings. How? Yes, it’s very simple: take the thread and bind the disk in the middle, tightening the knot.
We’ll make a dress from another cotton pad. To do this, fold it in the form of a cone.
And from the third circle we’ll make the head of an angel. To do this, put a small piece of cotton or cloth inside the disk. We will form a ball and drag the thread from the bottom, making a few stitches.
Assembly
Putting the figure together: sew the head and wings to the body. New Year or Christmas (as you like) do-it-yourself angel is ready! You can also make a small garland of angels by fastening them together with a thread, all the more so since it is not difficult to make such crafts. Angels can be given not only for Christmas or New Year, but also for Angel Day, Valentine 's Day, or just like that, to cheer you up. And hang a garland of angels over the front door: let them protect your house from all evil!
Christmas angel. DIY a little miracle
We cut out three rectangles from foil: 12x3cm, 8x3cm, 8x3cm. And yet - a square 6x6cm. These are blanks for the arms, legs, torso and head of our crafts. We roll the square into a ball with a diameter of about one and a half cm. And we squeeze the foil strips along the entire length, roll up so that we get a wire with a thickness of two or three mm. We make a cake of five mm thickness from plasticine, and we will stick a ball around it, rolled up from a square of foil. This will be the head of an angel (set it aside until dry).
We cut a paper napkin into long strips (two cm wide). We wrap foil wires with these strips in an overlap in two layers. We bend the wire for the legs in half; we connect the handle-legs with the body and we wind it with strips of napkins. We wrap the entire figure with threads to give it strength. In fact, such dolls-angels, made with their own hands from ordinary foil and napkins, resemble dolls-motanks so popular recently.
Move on. Take a napkin, fold it as for cutting snowflakes. Cut out the patterns. Then we straighten the napkin and wrap the doll around - it will be a dress. In the same way, from the napkin we make the sleeves of the dress (pink can be). Fix them with a thread. Wrap the handle. The outfit can be decorated with a colored ribbon.
Put your head on the wire pin. Draw eyes, nose, mouth. Cut the wings from the napkin and attach them behind the back of the figure. If desired, make a halo of copper wire.
So our angel is ready. With his own hands it turned out to be so easy to do!
