Nikolai Fedorovich Dmitriev is a famous Russian and Soviet poet. Author of publications in various literary journals, anthologies and almanacs. Dmitriev has eleven books on his account. Childhood

Nikolai Dmitriev was born in the village of Arkhangelsk (Ruzsky district of the Moscow region) in 1953. The boy's parents - Klavdia Fedorovna and Fedor Dmitrievich - were rural teachers. It was they who instilled in Nikolai a love of reading, books, poetry and Russian literature. Fedor Dmitrievich knew by heart Tyutchev, Nekrasov, Fet and other authors. He also composed ditties and loved to play the harmonica.

The first poems came from Nicholas in the ninth grade. The boy sent them to the district newspaper. A few days later he read his first publication. Fortunately, the newspaper editor was a professional poet.

Studying and publishing

In 1969, Nikolai Dmitriev entered the Pedagogical Institute at the Faculty of Literature and the Russian Language. Also, the young man regularly visited the literary organization Osnova, which was under the editorship of Orekhovo-Zuevskaya Pravda.

In 1978, the poet’s second book, On the Self, was published. After that, Nikolai Dmitriev became the Laureate of the Ostrovsky Competition. At the end of the same year, the young man was given an apartment in the city of Balashikha.

New works and prizes

Nikolai lived there for more than twenty years. During this time, the poet wrote several collections of poems: “Living Darkness”, “With You”, “Three Billion Seconds”, “Hail”, “Winter Mushroom Picker”, “Between Appearance and Sleep”. And the author became the winner of several awards: the Lenin Komsomol (1981), Alexander Nevsky (2003) and Anton Delvig (2005, posthumous).

In 2004, Nikolai Dmitriev released his last collection of poems "Nightingales" (in 2005 he died). At that time, the poet lived in Moscow, but held a presentation of the publication in his beloved Balashikha, in the library to them. Tyutcheva. After all, this city was for Dmitriev truly native. Memory

Balashikha people did not forget about the poet-compatriot. The city department of culture has developed and implemented several memorial events. So, in November 2007, a memorial plaque was opened to the poet at school No. 2. In February 2008, the family reading library was named after the poet. It also organized a museum exposition dedicated to the life and work of the hero of this article.

Since 2011, the Dmitriev Readings project has been operating, which was approved by the Ministry of Culture. It includes the annual organization and holding of serious events dedicated to the work and life of Nikolai Fedorovich. These are excursions, hours and evenings of poetry, round tables, festivals, contests of readers, etc. The holding of such events contributes to the formation of patriotic education and historical consciousness of young people. Also, the culture department, with the support of the administration of the city of Balashikha, published a book for the younger generation - a collection of Dmitriev’s poems entitled “Let the Word Shine”.

In the urban district there is a literary association "Metaphor". Its members are actively involved in all activities related to the perpetuation of the memory of the teacher, citizen and author Nikolai Dmitriev.

In April 2013, the Council of Deputies in Balashikha adopted the decision “On perpetuating the memory of the talented poet N.F. Dmitriev. A year later it entered into force, and one of the streets in the Alexeyevskaya Grove area under construction was named after him.
