If you want something unusual, but attractive, you should pay attention to such a plant as Campanella. The flower is quite rare for our latitudes, but still very popular among gardeners. This bell has a white, blue and pink colors. Some varieties are grown as decorative indoor plants, which in the summer perfectly decorate balconies and loggias, and in winter they go into hibernation. In the spring they come to life again and delight with abundant flowering.
Beautiful indoor flowers are, of course, good, but for gardeners more interesting are varieties that can be grown on the street. Campanella hails from southern countries, so it takes a long time to get used to our climate. To grow it is difficult, but possible. It is propagated by seeds, cuttings and dividing the bush, but initially, in order to get your own adult plant, you need to buy a bag of seeds. Campanella can grow in one place for up to 10 years. The flower is very moody, so it is necessary to feed it three times a season with mineral fertilizers, water it, and protect it from weeds. If you need to propagate the bell, then you can collect the seeds, which are stored in boxes, formed after flowering, cut the cuttings or divide the adult bush. If the plant is too large, then it does not need to be dug up, because Campanella does not tolerate transplanting. It is better to cut off the necessary part with a shovel, and it is good to fill the old bush with earth and water it.
