It is known that until 1930 there was a man’s monastery on the island of Saints Zosim and Savvaty. And the island itself was also called God's work. But then it was destroyed, and only the stone foundation remained after that. Now two wooden churches have been built on this site. This island is considered a historical point.
Although in 1999, people avoided it, as there were rumors that the old monastery was being restored, so women were forbidden to visit this place. But all the men who found themselves on the island, had to work out two hours a day to recover.

How to get to the lake

If you go by car, then it is better to go along Novorizhskoe highway to Ostashkovo. From it to Vselug it is necessary to go along the highway P89. But you should only remember that in the Chitino area it will be necessary to turn onto Peno. There is a pointer on the left. This path is forty kilometers.
Crossing Peno, you need to go only along the main road, and after the village you need to turn right and go to the village of Zabelino.
