The same master of fascinating novels is the one who wrote Treasure Island. The author of this work is a multifaceted person. He is a poet, essayist, playwright, creator of famous novels. A Scot by nationality, he was born in 1850 in Edinburgh and was the only and also painful offspring of a wealthy family of a marine engineer, a lighthouse builder. He studied law at the University of Edinburgh , however, like Walter Scott, he did not practice law. All his thoughts attracted literature. The one who wrote the book Treasure Island first traveled to America, traveled around Britain, and finally settled in the Pacific islands of Samoa. Here stood his house, which was called Weilima, while the natives themselves gave the owner the name - the Storyteller.
He was friends with local residents, took a lively part in their fate and enjoyed a sincere reciprocal arrangement. The author of Treasure Island died overnight before dinner. Uncorking a bottle of wine, he suddenly asked his wife why his face and hands looked so strange, and suddenly collapsed. He was 44 years old when he died. On the day of death on December 3, 1894, national mourning was declared on the island. The Council of Leaders has chosen the highest and most open mountain in Samoa.

Pirate romance
It was originally called Sea Cook, or Treasure Island: A Story for Boys. This work was first published in Young Folks magazine under the pseudonym Captain George North. A weathered sailor settled in a quiet tavern on the shore of a small bay.
He was very afraid of a single man, and the main character of the work, Jim Hawkins, the son of an innkeeper, gave some money to the boy to warn him if he saw a man with one leg. But a completely different sailor arrives, after visiting whom the innkeeper had a blow, and he died. Jim and his mother want the money the old sea wolf owes them. They open his chest and find documents in it that Jim takes for himself. The innkeepers have to flee, as there were "friends" of their guest. Squire Trelawney hired the scholar "Hispaniola" and a team on it. He acted so imprudently that everyone in the port soon knew that the ship was following Flint's treasures. The selection team, with the exception of a few people, consisted of pirates and dark personalities controlled by a cook - one-legged John Silver.

Pirates rush in search of treasures.

Meanwhile, the captain, Squire Trelawney, Dr. Livesey and the servants left the ship. As they sail toward the shore, pirates shoot at them from the ship. The core flies very close by, but no one was hurt. And although the skiff drowns, everyone gets ashore. They find shelter behind the picket fence. At this blockhouse, they raise the British flag. Pirates from the ship shell this shelter, while others who are on land, led by John Silver, demand that those in the fortress surrender. Captain Smollet refuses them. Then the pirates begin the attack. They climb the picket fence, and some climb over it. Hand-to-hand combat begins. The attack was repulsed, but everyone suffered losses.
Jim's adventures at sea
Jim decided to hijack the Hispaniola. When he arrived at her, he found on her two pirates who were very drunk. Together with Jim, they put the schooner in a safe place. And they decided to kill Jim, but the teenager, realizing that they were very unreliable companions, was on his guard.
Captured by pirates
At night, Jim returned to the fort and discovered that he was in the den of enemies. The pirates want to kill him, and Silver, too. But the crafty lame man spoke his teeth and convinced them not to touch anyone. It turns out that now they have in their hands a map of the island, and they will go for the treasures of Flint. Jim in search of treasures led on a rope. They came to the place where the treasure should be, but found an empty hole. In all, the pirates blamed Silver and wanted, but did not dare to kill him.
