Polina Dashkova is the pseudonym of the famous Russian writer Tatyana Viktorovna Polyachenko. She was born on July 14 in Moscow, in a family of hereditary Jews Zelenetskiy-Elanskiy.

After leaving school in 1979, she decides to enter the Literary Institute . A.M. Gorky. During practice in the fifth year of study, she was hired by the journal "Rural Youth" as a literary consultant.

In the nineties, she headed the literary department of the newspaper "Russian Courier". She has two daughters - Anna and Daria.

She made her debut as a poet. Her works were published in such magazines: “Origins”, “Youth”, “Rural Youth”, as well as in the almanac “Young Voices”. She became widely known as a writer thanks to the creation of detective stories.

The very first book , entitled “Blood of the Unborn,” was a great success among Russian readers. Many of her works have been translated into French and German.

She invented the pseudonym Dashkova, combining the name of her daughter Dasha and the derivative of her surname (Polyachenko). The terms of the employer's contract prohibit her from voicing her real name during the interview.

Today we’ll talk about her trilogy “The Source of Happiness”. This is a story about the possibility of a real extension of life. Dashkova wrote The Source of Happiness in 2007, when humanity was already intrigued by scientific discoveries about artificial rejuvenation of the body.

The protagonist of the work is billionaire Peter Borisovich Colt. This person is so rich that he is able to acquire any thing. He does his job well and can make any deal. The “Source of Happiness” presents us as a strong personality, a winner. Now he set out to find a means of ensuring eternal youth. Colt does not trust all sorts of myths about stem cells and the philosopher's stone. He is looking for a real means - the achievement of science. He was interested in the mystical discovery of a military surgeon, Professor Sveshnikov, which was recorded in 1916 in the capital of Russia.

It is not known what the essence of the experiments is. Professor notes disappeared in revolutionary times. The scientist himself, too, seemed to sink into the water. His life and alleged death are all in question.

This mysterious discovery is the mainstay of the work presented by the writer Dashkova.

The next part describes the continuation of the story of the family of the mysterious professor Sveshnikov and his research. In 1918, the Bolsheviks wanted to get a wonderful preparation. To date, this discovery is the longed-for prey of the adherents of an occult order seeking immortality.

The third book, The Source of Happiness, talks about Mikhail Vladimirovich Sveshnikov and Fyodor Agapkin, who were court doctors of the Red Leaders. They witnessed events at the turn of the twenties of the last century. The patients of the mysterious doctors were Stalin and Lenin. The leaders entertained themselves with the opportunity to rise to the peak of their fame, while being in the guise of forever young politicians. They hoped to get a cure to help get rid of old age and death.
