To begin with, let's look at how to create a bright and tasty gift - a doll in a dress for flamenco. For a doll made of sweets in a Spanish outfit, you will need sweets in black candy wrappers. And you also need to purchase red and black corrugated paper, multi-colored foil, penoplex, organza, wire, decorative braid, glue, scissors and a stapler, as well as an elastic band or teip tape for floristry.
Preparing the foundation
First you need to prepare the base for the dress of our doll from sweets. We cut out two circles from the foam and make holes for them in the legs. Then we cut two pieces of red corrugated paper according to previously taken measurements from the doll. One piece goes to create the top of the dress, and from the second we make the base of the skirt. We put the upper piece on the doll and fix it with glue on the back. Foam blanks are wrapped with the part intended for the skirt. Now we put a penoplex with a skirt on the doll. We glue the parts of the dress of our future doll from sweets with each other.
Make dress
The upper part of the outfit is decorated with braid. Next, you need to make flowers from sweets that will act as flounces on the dress. They will be of 2 types: red with a black middle and completely red. They are done the same way. It is necessary to cut off a strip of corrugated red paper, along the length it should be such that it is enough to wrap the candy at least 3 times. Stretch the upper edge of the strip. Now cut off a strip of black paper, the same width as red, but shorter in length. Now these strips need to be folded in 2 layers and wrap the candy with them.
Pre-wrap the candy in foil and fasten a piece of wire on the tail. The resulting base must be fastened with an elastic band or tape. The edges of the flower petals are stretched to give it a beautiful shape. Similarly, you need to make the right amount of flowers. Monochromatic should be made more.
Build Outfit
And now we collect all the parts of the doll from sweets in one composition. We fix the flowers on the basis of foam, piercing it with a wire fixed to them. We begin to fix one-color flowers from the bottom row. To make our craft look better, mask the rubber bands with paper in the bottom row.
On the side of the composition, leave an empty space of about three flowers to loop the outfit. We make a train. Create a twig of four flowers: two one-color, and two black-red. Take the wire a little longer and weave the flowers together. We fix this branch in the place where the train will begin. From it down will go a cascade of flowers.
Two-tone flowers will make the desired pattern, like a flamenco dress. At the places where flowers are attached, we mask the wire and gum with organza bows. The outfit for our Spanish is ready. If desired, you can decorate the doll’s hair with a flower.
