Where is the car museum in Sochi?

"Sochi Auto Museum" began its history not so long ago, namely on May 1, 2015. Finding it is easy enough. The Automobile Museum is located in the Olympic Park, in the “Fan House” at the address: International Street, 12.

The reason for its opening was the stage of the Russian Grand Prix of Formula 1, which took place in October at the Sochi-Autodrom base. Inside this place, a colorful world opens up where it is easy to get lost and enjoy it. The exhibits cover the time of the 1930-1990s. The main part of the exhibition is made up of domestic civilian cars, but among them you can also see ambulances, fire engines, pickups, trucks and buses.

Each exhibit is a special story, so you can’t just come and look at the cars without touching it. The information plate that is next to all the cars presented tells about the maximum speed, engine size, body type and year of manufacture, as well as a short history of its creation or operation. If an exhibit has sunk into the soul, you can take it with you by buying a mini version of such a car in a gift shop.

The exhibition is divided into thematic sectors, in each of them you can see amazing and rare exhibits. For example, in the “Wildlife Rest by the Sea” zone, “Moskvich-401-420” flaunts, and a little further you can see “Moskvich-401-422” with a wooden van. Also, the Sochi Auto Museum has one of 15 Moskvich-2142S0 Duet cars that was created around the turn of the century.

Among the exclusive exhibits are expensive medical transport ZIL-41042, a car for the sick leaders of the USSR GAZ-13C, all-wheel drive GAZ-M72, one of the rarest buses "Uralets-66AS". Even this inexhaustible list suggests that the car museum has something to see, which means that time and money will not be wasted.

What you can familiarize yourself by visiting the Sochi Auto Museum are unique sources of emotions and admiration, which means that it is impossible to pass without a ticket to the exhibition. Their price varies depending on the age and position of the person. An adult (from 12 years old) must pay 500 rubles to visit the auto museum. Children's ticket (7-12 years) costs 250 rubles. Young researchers under 7 years old can go for free. Also free entry is provided to the heroes of the Russian Federation and the USSR, people with disabilities of groups I and II, children with disabilities, orphans, combatants and veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
