In kindergarten they teach children the most important and basic things that will be useful to them in future. Naturally, classes are somewhat different from school ones, because kids perceive everything differently - through games. Drawing in the preparatory group is that very special form of training.
Family for a walk
The purpose of the lesson is to teach children to distinguish value ratios: an adult is more than a child. An additional task is to draw a contour with a simple pencil and fill it with color. Drawing in the preparatory group is no longer as simple as in the initial one, therefore the goals are set more “global”. What is required:
- Colour pencils.
- Eraser.
- Simple pencils.
- Sheets of paper.
The educator first on himself and one of the children shows the very ratio of growth that you want to depict. Additionally, you need to talk about how people usually start to draw. That is, there can conditionally exist two types of drawing lessons : with and without an example. It is recommended to start with simple basics: for example, images of a banana or an orange. - What shape is an orange? (round)
- What color are apples? (yellow, red, green)
- What is the difference between apricot and peach? (one big, the other small)
- What is grape? (green, red, purple)
The teacher should remind the children that it is better to draw fruit first from the outline and form, only then to paint over with colored paints or pencils.
The complexity of the task
To make the lesson more difficult, you can set the theme “Fruit Plate”. In this case, the kids will need to correctly correlate the dimensions of the image. The educator needs to be reminded that an orange is larger than mandarin, and an apple is different in shape from a pear, that a banana is oblong, and grapes grow in clusters. As a visual aid, you can use real fruits or their imitations. Drawing in the preparatory group can be not only pencils, but also paints. Therefore, the kids need to explain that each of the elements of the fruit plate must dry out, otherwise the colors will mix, the pattern will not be as clear and bright as we would like.
Autumn as a theme for creativity
Since the autumn theme is one of the first topics for drawing, because the “academic” year in kindergarten and school begins with it, it’s worth asking the kids several different tasks at once, distributing them into several lessons of fine art. Thus, one can teach children several important things at once.
Theme: Autumn Forest
Drawing in the preparatory group (autumn as a theme for creativity) can begin with just such a simple theme as the forest. You need to ask the kids to depict what they saw or could see during this period of time. As an example, you can give illustrations of their books or read a fairy tale / story. The kids themselves decide what they draw: twigs, a large tree, squirrels, bunnies or other forest animals. It is noteworthy that when describing the autumn forest, such questions may be useful:
- What color foliage do trees have in autumn?
- What are the animals doing in the forest at this time?
- What is leaf fall?
- What do maple leaves look like?
- What do rowan berries look like?
- What color are the Christmas trees and pines in the fall?
- What happens in the forest at this time of year?
Theme: mushrooms
The biggest kids in kindergarten usually already know that it is in the autumn that they pick mushrooms in the forest. Drawing in the preparatory group can be devoted to this topic. Questions that will help kids to orient themselves for classes:
- What mushroom grows under aspen?
- What mushroom grows under a birch?
- The most “main” mushroom in the forest?
- What color is fly agaric?
- Is it possible to collect toadstools?
- How to cut mushrooms?
- Are there mushrooms called “chanterelles” or are they animals?
In parallel, you need to tell and clearly illustrate what is being discussed. Including how mushrooms look exactly. Drawing in the preparatory group on this topic can begin with the story that it is better to portray a hat, then a leg, and only then paint over the drawing with paints or pencils.
Theme: animals
With this topic will have a little more complicated. Firstly, because drawing animals in the preparatory group is not given to every child right away. Secondly, you need to be able to correctly set the topic. After all, there are so many different animals. Therefore, it is conditionally possible to divide all classes into several subtopics:
- African fauna (elephants, lions, tigers, rhinos and others).
- Forest animals (bears, squirrels, wolves, hares and others).
- Underwater animals.
- Pets.
- Northern animals.
Each topic needs to be illustrated, clearly demonstrated. So the horizons of children develop, and there is something to fantasize about. You can tell a short story about each described animal in order not only to arouse, but also to support the baby’s interest. That is why this is one of the most difficult topics, if you take drawing as a whole in the preparatory group. Autumn, by the way, can also be closely intertwined with animals. For example, you can tell how forest animals prepare for winter, that they collect supplies during this period, that they eat, how to change fur coats and why. It turns out immediately a double lesson: and drawing, and the world.
What topics can be asked
There are a number of activities that do not change: autumn, winter, summer, spring, space, holidays. All of them most often act as themes for creativity, since they are closely connected with the outside world. But there are others, no less important. So, for example, drawing (preparatory group), class notes for which are drawn up by educators themselves, can be devoted to:
- family
- transport;
- to rest;
- Dreams
- free topic;
- fairy tales;
- favorite characters.
It is important to develop imagination in children, stimulate them to mental work, and maintain their interest. And, of course, to teach them to put their hand in the classroom correctly. It depends on how the children will eventually write in the classroom. The drawing topics in the preparatory group may be different, but it is important to set them correctly. For example, in a playful way: first a fairy tale or a riddle about future topics, and then visual art itself. A properly constructed lesson allows not only to keep the most capricious and restless baby in place, but also to develop thinking. Drawing in the preparatory group carries several important functions at once: the development of imagination, the knowledge of the world around us, the creation of our own opinions, the correct setting of our hands, the development of perseverance and patience. All this at school will be useful to children, since it will be easier to study something familiar to them already deeper than to perceive information from scratch. Parents are required to maintain their children's interest in creativity, engage with them at home, tell them something new about a topic of interest. And, of course, answer a lot of questions patiently and honestly. If the child will constantly receive new information about what is interesting to him, then it will be easier for him to study at school, it is easier to remember even that which is not too important. That is why drawing is the simplest and most accessible form of training in the preparatory group.
