Museum and Exhibition Center (Kogalym) is a platform where the most important events of the cultural life of the city take place. Kogalym Museum and Exhibition Center (Tyumen Region) is based on the basis of two city museums - local history and fine arts. The opening took place in the summer of 2011. The cultural space occupies more than 1.5 thousand square meters of the basement and first floors of a modern 16-storey building. The stationary exhibition is spread over an area of more than 737 square meters. meters, the storage facilities occupy almost 100 square meters of space, the platform for temporary exhibitions is about 37 m 2 .
The museum funds contain more than 9 thousand storage units. The most valuable collections include:
- Khanty Ethnography includes 842 unique items.
- "Ancient lamps" consists of 36 objects.
- Monotypes of Lyudmila Gaynanova - 49 works.
- The works of local artists - over 160 works.
