Creating heroes in the Dota 2 lobby can only be done with the help of certain console commands. To activate them, do not forget to activate the console itself and enable the ability to add cheats. Open the console, click on the game icon in the Steam library and select "Properties" / "Set Options". Next, hammer in the -console window and click "ok." The console can be called up using the "~" key.
If you want to make a hero in the "DotA 2" lobby (as indicated in the example above), then follow these steps:
- Type sv_cheats 1.
- Open a chat and enter the command -createhero ___ neutral / enemy. Instead of "___" specify the name of the character, and the neutral / enemy part in the literal sense denotes a neutral or enemy side.

Bots can vary in levels that affect their overall performance: the ability to quickly make decisions during the battle, an effective team game and help a partner, sharpness of movements and much more. The number of such levels is five. You can also configure them by setting the correct command through the console - levelbots x. Replace x with a number that matches your desired level from one to five. After that, absolutely all created characters will receive the level you set.
Managing friendly heroes depends entirely on your own choice, as opposed to enemy bots that act according to a specific strategy. You can change their location and give directions.
Other useful console commands
The cheats below do not apply to the problem of how to create a character in the Dota 2 lobby, but they are no less useful.
Remember: in order to deactivate a particular command, it is enough to replace the number "1" with "0". Remember to remove the "-" sign when pasting code into the console.
