Childhood and family
On January 2, 1937, a fourth child appeared in the large family of a Moscow engineer - the future literary critic Marietta Omarovna Chudakova. Bulgakov. Today Chudakova is one of the main experts on the work of this writer, not only in Russia, but also in the world. Since 1985, she is a teacher at the Literary Institute, and also teaches Russian literature in many foreign universities. Over the years of her scientific work, Chudakova Marietta Omarovna, whose biography is rich in scientific creativity, has published more than 200 works, most of which are devoted to literature of the Soviet period. She is the chairman of the Bulgakov Fund and the editor of Tynianovsky collections. Marietta Chudakova is a member of the Union of Writers of Russia. Chudakova also writes books, her area is literature for adolescents. While still at school, Marietta Omarovna realized how important good literature is to becoming a person, and realized that there is a huge shortage of modern youth literature. Social work
Marietta Chudakova is an indifferent person and, since the time of perestroika, has been actively involved in the life of the country. She actively signs letters and petitions criticizing the current government. She happened to become a participant in the meeting B.N. Yeltsin with the literary intelligentsia. She later works on the Presidential Council, on the pardon committee.
In 2006, she initiated the creation of a public organization helping veterans of modern military operations and the intelligentsia. It supports the Union of Right Forces party and even enters the party list in the State Duma, but the party does not pass the threshold for the number of votes.
She is actively engaged in educational work: she travels with lectures all over Russia, supports rural and school libraries. Marietta Chudakova today is a representative of the opposition of the ruling government, signs petitions, participates in rallies, and is active in social networks.
Private life
Marietta Chudakova is a happy person. She lived a wonderful life with her husband, which was full of love, understanding and cooperation. Her husband, literary critic Alexander Pavlovich Chudakov, chose Russian literature as the main topic of research, in particular, the work of A.P. Chekhov. In 2005, he was killed by unknowns.
Chudakova has a daughter who, like her parents, graduated from the philological department of Moscow State University. Now Marietta Omarovna is happy to devote time to her grandchildren. Although she has little free time, besides work and social activities, she is fond of travel, reads a lot, parses her husband's archives.
