On the right side after three loops of the border, and on the left to three loops there will be one leaflet. This protects the edges of the shawl from rounding. You can also knit a couple of leaves, but this will lead to a radical change in the pattern.

Stretching the finished product
When the shawl knitting is finished, all remaining ends of the threads should be hidden. The product itself should be moistened in water, stretched, fixed in this form with pins and so dried.
