According to the first scheme, non-food goods are taken directly from the site to the trading floor.
This process is typical for sales using packaging equipment. To implement such a scheme, two rooms should be provided: a reception room and a vacation room. The second type of sales process involves three stages. In this case, between the acceptance and release of products, an operation is carried out to store it. The third scheme, according to which non-food items are sold, is considered the most complex. It is used in the case when the products require preliminary refinement before distribution to the trading floor. For example, non-food products must be exempted from factory packaging, cleaned, and made suitable for sale. Typically, stores use all three of these schemes.
Trade process. Essential elements
An integral component of any trading process is customer service. When considering the elements should highlight the main and auxiliary. The first category includes the offer of products, consulting clients, an operation on direct leave (for this there is such a position as a seller of non-food products), as well as a cash settlement transaction. Auxiliary elements include product acceptance, placement and sorting at the warehouse, product preparation, service areas and workplaces, internal transportation. Failure to comply with the established rules, improper registration of the reception of products can lead to difficulties in making claims to the transport organization or the supplier for the supply of low-quality products or short delivery.
Acceptance and storage. Main criteria
Non-food items as part of centralized delivery are accepted directly at stores. This process is carried out by materially responsible employees in terms of quality and quantity in accordance with the accompanying documentation. In the absence of a bill of lading, invoice, inventory, packing labels, acceptance is carried out according to the act, which indicates the actual availability of products. The same document notes the absence of accompanying papers. For certain types of non-food products, special delivery conditions, standards, transportation and packaging norms and so on are established. Storage of products in a store is characterized by the short duration of presence in the trading room. This, in turn, contributes to faster updating of the assortment.
