- For decorative purposes, it is worth pasting the surface with beautiful paper or at least just a suitable color. This step makes sense to do, if you wrap the workpiece you will be a transparent material, if not - leave the brown cardboard as is.
- Take the prepared cloth. Try on what size flap you will need.
- Put the prepared material in one or several layers (you can make a workpiece from several rags of different colors, laid one on top of the other).
- Wrap the cardboard ring so that the free ends remain on one side, which will be the tip of the headgear.
- Tie loose parts of the fabric with satin ribbon or beautiful ribbon.
- Sew decorative elements onto the fabric wrapper. If the material is used transparent, jewelry can be glued, on the contrary, on a cardboard base. Use elements in the form of sweets cut out of colored paper, real small sweets, beads, circles - in a word, what is at hand or seems suitable for you.

How to make decorative candy
No matter how you make a candy costume with your own hands, you can decorate it with the help of an additional accessory - a big candy that the girl can pick up or put on as an original bag if you attach the strap. You can make candy from polystyrene foam, a cardboard box of a suitable size and shape, or from a sheet of cardboard.
The work is done like this:
- Cut a piece of foam to a suitable size. If the thickness is small, make a workpiece of two identical thin ones. If you have a suitable box - just prepare it. If there is neither polystyrene foam, nor a box, take a sheet of cardboard and roll a tube out of it, as they did for a hat, glue the seam.
- Wrap the blank with corrugated paper.
