Explain to the children why bird nests cannot be ravaged.

Children are curious creatures. In their exploration of the world around them, they yearn to touch, consider everything. Should they be blamed if they reach for a randomly discovered bird's nest? There are small bluish or white testicles, or maybe tiny, chicks covered with delicate down. It is clear the desire of the baby to hug such hilarious chicks. But the duty of the parents is to explain to the child how this can threaten the brood, why you can’t ruin the nests of birds. Unless, of course, adults themselves understand this.

All peoples have beliefs that certain birds bring happiness, harmony and prosperity to the house. In Ukraine and Moldova, a tire from a large wheel is specially installed on the roofs to induce storks to make a nest on it. Say, the base for the ā€œbasketā€ for eggs is already ready. And in any region, people nestling birdhouses to tree trunks so that songbirds settle there, delight their ears with their sonorous twitter. Luck settles under the roof of human housing if a swallow built its clay house there. Many people will answer unequivocally to the question of why it is impossible to break the nests of birds: luck will turn away, and misfortunes, evil spirits and illness will come. If storks do not fly to their old place, this is a disaster.

Why you can’t break the nests of birds
Suppose you are not a very superstitious person, and do not think that the success of your life depends on some birds. But then your conscience and love for your neighbor should tell you why you can’t ruin the nests of birds. Parents knowingly hide their brood from prying eyes. Wet behind the ears and defenseless as a danger for the life of the mass of: late frost or scorching heat, rains and winds, and even predatory animals (martens, cats, dogs, snakes) and birds (magpies, crows, jays). Ants can pave the way to the nests and completely eat eggs or even bite the hatched offspring. The fate of the brood depends entirely on the parents - if they are killed by an eagle or a hunter, all the chicks will die from excruciating hunger.

Many birds are very careful. Even the plumage of females in some species of birds differs from the color of males in its camouflage color: it sits on the nest, afraid that it would not be noticed with the children, and a too bright male distracts itself in case of the appearance of a predator nearby. But if you go to their home, pick up the chicks, or even just bend over them, the frightened parents will no longer fly to their children, and they will simply starve to death. That’s why you need to even carefully record bird nests on the camera. Photos taken close by simply doom the chicks to death.

Sometimes it happens that the chick falls out of the nest and remains alive. You can help him get home again, but this must be done very carefully. Avoid holding it in your hands for a long time. Why? You can’t ruin the nests of birds, and if your smell is in the nest, then you will not save the fallen yellowhorot, and destroy the other chicks. Take the box, quickly transfer the fallen there, wait until both parents leave the house in search of food, and only then climb the tree.

However, there are cases when it is simply necessary to demolish nesting. Weavers are small birds of Africa, whose photos are very beautiful, they make huge dwellings in which they live in colonies. Moreover, they are so hospitable that they give shelter to other birds. But if earlier weavers chose tall trees to build their ā€œapartment buildingsā€, now they are increasingly becoming a support for the construction of high-voltage transmission lines. This often leads to short circuits and fires. To prevent them, the "stacks" of weavers are demolished.
