Story line
The original MK narrated about the tenth tournament, in which Liu Keng with great difficulty defeated the worst enemy of all the people of Shang Tsung. The plot of "Mortal Kombat-2" takes place around Shao Kahn. After an insulting defeat, Shan Tsung decided to rehabilitate himself before the lord of the black forces and organize a new tournament, the platform of which should be the Outside World. On the territory of Shao Kahn, earthlings will have a hard time, but you cannot lose, otherwise the Earth will forever fall in front of dark forces.
The third part of the series and its many updates tell about the revenge of the Lord of the Outer World, who at the end of MK-2 lost to Liu Keng in equal fight. The next version of the game ("Mortal Kombat-4") reveals to the world the God Shinnok, who decided to overthrow the rest of the lords, drawing strength from the Earth Kingdom. However, Raiden could not allow this. Defeating him, he threw the outcast into the Underworld. However, Sub-Zero managed to return Shinnok to the Kingdom of Heaven to complete what had begun. The plot of "MK-5" can be considered a prequel to the rest of the parts, which tells about a certain magician Kuan Chi.
