"Technoblock Standard": technical characteristics of insulation

The Technonikol company is one of the most popular in Russia among manufacturers of building materials. Among the thermal insulation, it is worth highlighting the Technoblock mineral wool.

"Technoblock" and its types

"Technoblock" is a mineral wool slab composed of basalt fibers. It is used for building insulation during the installation of layered masonry or for decorative decoration of facades. Thanks to special additives "Technoblock" has better characteristics compared to conventional mineral wool. Its advantages are as follows:

1. Does not absorb moisture.
2. Does not burn.
3. It has a high density.
4. Differs in the increased durability.
5. It allows air to pass through.

7. Just mounted.
8. It is a good heat and sound insulator.
9. Not afraid of rodents and insects.

Of the shortcomings can be identified only a relatively high cost. Three types of material are distinguished depending on the density:

• "Technoblock Standard". Technical characteristics of this species depend on its density, which is 40-50 kg / m ³ . This indicator allows the material to compress up to 10% of the volume under the influence of the load.
• "Optima." Has a density of 60 kg / m ³ . It compresses under load by only 8%. It has the ability to completely restore its shape.
• "Technoblock Prof". Compresses only 5% of the volume. Its density is 65-70 kg / m ³ .

"Technoblock Standard": technical specifications

This type of insulation is made in the form of blocks measuring 100x50x3 cm and 120x60x20 cm. Despite the large thickness, the material is easily cut using scissors or a knife. This greatly simplifies the installation process. "Technoblock Standard", the technical characteristics of which correspond to GOST, is a good heat insulator and noise absorber. It is resistant to chemicals, moisture, the effects of microorganisms and rodents.

The material does not burn, but withstands the temperature range from minus 60 to plus 200 degrees. Service life reaches 80 years. "Technoblock Standard", the technical characteristics of which are maintained throughout the entire service life, can be used in various fields:

1. In the construction of housing and industrial buildings.
2. As a central layer of layered masonry.
3. As a heater for frame walls, facades, basements, attics, garages and so on.

Using the Technoblock

Heater "Technoblock Standard" is laid on a cleaned surface. A frame is mounted on the wall, into which thermal insulation is placed. Previously, an adhesive composition is applied to the mineral wool mat and the wall. After the solution has dried, the heaters are additionally fixed with dowels, based on the calculation of 5-8 pieces per 1 m ² . On top of the "Technoblock" waterproofing is rolled out to protect it from moisture. It can be applied plaster.
