Not all gamers know how to get a katana in Skyrim. It is not surprising. Indeed, in the original version of the game there are only three varieties of such blades, which is very small compared to other parts of The Elder Scrolls.

Blade Sword
According to its characteristics, this weapon is identical to a steel heavenly sword. Nevertheless, this katana in Skyrim has a unique appearance, for which, for the most part, it is appreciated. You can get the Sword of Blades in the following ways:
- complete the quest "Horn of Jurgen" and pick up the Dolphins from the chest in the room;
- pick up from Fultheim;
- to take from the rack for weapons in the Temple of Heavenly Harbor.
By the way, the Sword of the Blades is, in fact, an Akvir katana, which was often found in Oblivion.
Blade Blade
A unique sword that previously belonged to Atzilius Bolar. It has a special property that allows it to take 25 units of power reserve from the enemy at each strike. At the same time, weak enemies (reasonable races), having received damage with a blade, will flee in panic.
To find this katana, you need to go to the location of the Drowning Grotto. There, on a pedestal next to the statue of Talos, you will find not only the Bolar Blade, but also a note left by the previous owner. Keep in mind that you should go in search of weapons before you begin the quest "Call of the Moon." Otherwise, the location will change, and you will not be able to get a katana.
Ebony Blade
The Daedric artifact that Mephal created. It has powerful dark spells that can absorb the health of the target upon impact. At first, this effect is rather weak, but it can be strengthened by killing characters with friendship with Dovakin with a blade.
To get this Katana, you will need to complete the mission, "The door that whispers." A quest can only be started after reaching level 20 by talking to Hulda in the “Prancing Mare”. In this case, you must have completed the task "Dragon in the sky."
Katana crafting
As you probably noticed, the assortment of katanas in the game is rather meager. Fortunately, this situation can be corrected. To do this, just download and then install the mod on the katana for Skyrim, which is called Katana Crafting.
Modification, as you might guess from its name, adds the ability to create exotic blades in the forge. Moreover, all the katanas included in the mod not only look great, but also do not upset the balance in the game.
