"Sims 4" - a unique game in the genre of simulation of human life. There is a stereotype that only the female gender plays in the Sims series, however, around the world you can find many guys and men who will not refuse to spend a couple of evenings in this wonderful game. Together they form a friendly and talented community that constantly creates modifications, including clothing with hairstyles for "Sims 4". Let's figure out how to install and apply them in the game.
Installation methods
Installation is slightly different depending on the type of modification file. If you downloaded the addition with a hairstyle or clothes in the PACKAGE format, then do the following:
- Unzip the mod to any folder on your hard drive.
- Open the directory of the installed game and go to the Mods folder.
- Copy the .package file to the Mods folder.
- Launch the game and enjoy the new hairstyles for "Sims 4"!
In the event that you downloaded the add-on in the ZIP archive, you need to do the following steps:
- The ZIP archive does not need to be unpacked. Just copy it into the Mods folder in the directory of the Sims 4 game.
- Next, launch the game and go to "Settings".
- Open the “Other” tab and check the box next to “Mods for scripts”, then save the changes.
- Restart the game.
Now you can use the set costumes with hairstyles when creating a character.
How to apply hairstyles?
To see the mods that you have installed, you must open the character editor. You can postpone the settings of all other parameters and immediately proceed to check the hairstyles and clothes. To open the section with costumes, click on the little man’s figure on the right side of your character. There will be a section with suits and shoes in a vertical column. To view the hairstyles, click on the hero’s head and then click on the icon with the mannequin in the wig. The entire list of hairstyles with visual images will be presented on the right.
