"Nemo" - a dolphinarium in Almaty
In the city of Almaty in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure (abbreviated as TsPKiO) named after Gorky in the summer of 2016, a dolphinarium with 450 seats was opened. It is included in the International Community of Dolphinariums "Nemo", its main task is to disseminate knowledge about marine animals among the population, and to popularize the idea of nature conservation.

Artful bottlenose dolphins jump through the ring, dance and paint pictures. They ride a full-length coach on his back and toss him like a ball. Sometimes dolphins start to get naughty, somersault and dabble in the pool, playfully jump out of the water to the laughter and applause of the audience. A sea lioness performs all the numbers - whirling, somersaults, dance steps and "frogs" with fins - very carefully, with a certain degree of grace. He loves the applause of the audience.
Fur seals are real virtuosos, they dance great, do gymnastics, cleverly perform tricks with a ball. They also know how to sing to the accompaniment of a coach.
After the show program, adults and children rush to say hello to bottlenose dolphins for the fin, stroke them, take a picture with them as a keepsake. As entertainment, it is suggested to swim and do several laps in the pool with dolphins. And for those who suffer from autism and cerebral palsy, a special health-improving dolphin therapy is provided.

The dolphinarium in Gorky Park (Almaty) is open daily except Tuesday. The program starts at 12-00, 15-00 and at 18-00. Entrance ticket costs 3 thousand tenge, children under 5 years pass free of charge. A photo with dolphins is paid separately - 2 thousand tenge, swimming in a pool with bottlenose dolphins - up to 35 thousand tenge.
The park is easily accessible by bus (numbers 22, 25, 58 and 118) and a trolleybus (numbers 1, 12 and 25).
