Children, especially boys, are very fond of playing with military-related toys. These are soldiers, tanks, armored personnel carriers, planes, helicopters. You can make crafts of military equipment with your own hands from different materials with your child. This can be paper, cardboard, waste material, plasticine, threads and quilling strips.
Before you begin, you need to prepare all the necessary materials. If a paper craft, it will be good to paint the product with paints, so that the equipment really becomes military. In the article, we consider several examples of making military equipment with our own hands and what we need for this.
Plasticine helicopter
To make such a helicopter, you need to cook: brown, blue, red and blue plasticine, two wooden flat ice cream sticks, a wire and a long branch or a round stick. In order for the helicopter body to be solid and not to break during the child's play, you can make a base by twisting it from wire. It is also better to insert a solid base into the skis.
A large ball is made of brown plasticine - a cabin, to which a tail with an end bent up is attached. It is on it that the tail rotor is attached. They also mold it from the brown mass and the central red point of the connection of the blades. This screw will not spin, but you can push a metal stick into the red center, then the shank can be twisted.
Further from the wire they create the base by twisting, coated with blue plasticine. Then the brown cabin pins on the sharp ends of the wire. The skis will then hold tight.
The sticks are folded with a cross and tied with thread. Then the central part of them is held together by a brown plasticine ball. Then the screw is mounted on a stick, which you need to stick into the roof of the car.
So that the helicopter can fly, it is mounted on a long stick. A kid who will play with him will be able to lift him up and fly around the room. Making military equipment with your own hands from plasticine is easy, even a child of preschool age can. Often children do just that in the kindergarten, creating crafts for the holidays of February 23 or May 9.
Paper plane
The easiest option for making military equipment with your own hands will be paper crafts. Now popularly origami. This is a folding of a simple sheet of paper figures of people, animals and various equipment. The diagram below shows in detail the folding sequence of a rectangular sheet A-4.

Cardboard tank
It is not difficult to make military equipment out of paper with your own hands. You can use both plain heavy paper for the printer and cardboard. The following tank model must be made of corrugated cardboard. For the edges to be wavy, you must first remove a thin top layer of paper from a sheet of cardboard. It is glued, but can be removed quite easily, so this process will go quickly.
Then you need to follow the rules of quilling. The basic principle of this art is paper curling. We start work from the tower. To twist the top of the tank, you need to cut a strip of cardboard 7 cm wide. The length must be taken by eye, depending on the volume of the resulting oval. We do the same with the hull of the tank. Only the width of the strip is 10 cm.
The hatch is made by twisting a strip, the width of which is only 1 cm. The barrel of the gun should be long, so we fold the cardboard in width. We insert one edge into the hole made in the tank turret. Another layer of cardboard is wound on the edge of the barrel so that there is a thicker end of the gun. All parts of military equipment, made with their own hands, are glued together with PVA glue.
Tank tracks
In the manufacture of wheels, narrow strips of cardboard of the same length and width are folded, 4 on each side. The wheels are glued together in length and thin strips of tracks are wound on top of them. This is how both tracks are designed and glued to the sides of the tank. A child will be able to play such a toy for a long time, as it turns out to be strong.
