How is tinted parquet

Parquet is a beautiful, eco-friendly flooring. And the technology that allows you to give it a unique look is tinted parquet. It will be discussed in this article.

In the modern classification according to size and characteristics, the following types of flooring are present:

1. Parquet laid individually. Small wooden planks, varnished or artistically decorated on one side, and connected to each other by a special mount.

2. Shield parquet. This form of flooring is created from piece boards, previously bonded to each other in shields of various sizes.

3. Parquet board. Stacked board from small glued wooden planks. The design principle was created back in the middle of the 20th century.

4. Massive boards. This design resembles a simple wooden floor. Solid wood boards 1.5-2 meters long are interconnected. It is important that even with little damage, you have to change the entire board.

5. Mosaic parquet. Everything is simple here - the parquet is laid in mosaics in the form of a pre-planned drawing, usually it has clear geometric simple lines.

6. The parquet is palace. So nobly called parquet, which during assembly is laid out in the picture.

Parquet tinted

Mosaic and palace parquet in order to avoid mistakes when laying the picture are collected not on the floor, but in the workshops, and are laid with ready-made canvases.

Prices for such products vary greatly, which directly depends on the manufacturer's company and the materials used. For example, coniferous flooring is the cheapest. Often, when buying parquet from a pine tree, I want it to look like the texture and color of a more expensive exotic tree, for example, from Africa or South America. Parquet tinting can come to the rescue - an inexpensive effective procedure with which you can get the desired result.

Types of Parquet

Parquet tinting is also necessary in the process of repairing it, only it must first be cycled. Toning will not take more than 4 days for a room of 30 sq.m.

There are two directions in the technology of giving a parquet a certain color: tinting parquet with varnish compositions - involves surface application and colorization due to the formation of a colored film; tinting with oil composition - carried out by impregnation and dyeing of wooden fibers.

Mastic for parquet

Parquet tinting requires a qualified approach, its surface after cycling should be extremely even for a better distribution of tinting paste. Parquet installation is carried out directly on cement or concrete by gluing. For these purposes, special mastic is needed. Mastic for parquet can be cold and hot. It has adhesive properties, damage protection properties, sealant properties. You can also make mastic in order to grate the parquet in order to prevent shrinkage or deformation. The composition is diluted like glue, after thickening it resembles rubber, it lasts up to 20 years, in different climates it shows its properties in a certain way, in Moscow, for example, it is stored in well-ventilated warehouses.
