For example, on the door of the apartment of the heroine Lisbeth is written "V. Kula." That was the name of the villa where Peppy lived.

Once in his life, businessman Hans Eric Wennerstrom appears, who accuses him of lying. Henrik Vanger's lawyer finds the genius girl Lisbeth Salander, she is a programmer and hacker. He instructs her to gather information about Blomqvist. She successfully succeeds, and she passes the information to the large industrialist Vanger. Having learned everything he wanted about Mikael, he invites him to a meeting in Hedastand.
He suggests investigating the mysterious disappearance of his niece Harriet. Henrik Wanger thinks that it was a murder committed by one of the members of his vast family. And after 40 years, he still wants to find out who killed his niece in 1966. He is ready to allocate a substantial amount for the investigation, however, he can’t skimp on the journalist’s earnings. Offers to investigate the case directly in his villa, which is located on the island.
On a piece of land in Hedeby, Michael begins his activities to investigate the murder of 60 years ago. He meets members of the Vanger family and learns a lot about the life of an elderly industrialist. For example, his relatives include a former Nazi Harald. In the villa, he has an affair with his daughter Henrik Cecilia. Michael decides to seek help from a girl with a dragon tattoo who collected information about him. And in tandem, they begin to investigate the murder.
Hollywood movie adaptation of the book
In 2011, the detective thriller "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" was released on cinema screens. The actors were perfectly matched - Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara. The entire process was led by eminent Hollywood director David Fincher.
For the best actress, the film was awarded the Oscar. His budget was a whopping $ 90 million. However, the film broke not only the audience's applause, the critics also reacted favorably to him. So much so that the rating of the film was worthy 7.8 points for IMDb.
