• paper napkins - 1-2 packs;
• glue "Dragon", "Titan" or a hot gun;
• a branch from a tree of medium thickness;
• ball (material - polystyrene foam, plastic, paper or a ball of thread);
• stationery stapler ;
• scissors;
• round cardboard template;
• a flower pot or any other container;
• gypsum;

Topiary from a napkin. Process description

1. Fastening a ball (crown of a tree) to a branch (trunk). We cut a hole in the ball that matches the diameter of the circumference of the branch, pour glue into it and insert the trunk of the future topiary. Hold for a minute until the details are seized. If you don’t have a finished ball made of foam or plastic, you can take a ball of unnecessary threads or make a ball of paper. To do this, crumple a large number of newspapers, wind them around the entire circumference, forming a ball. Next, wrap the resulting blank with plain paper and secure it with tape.
2. Making flowers . Fold the paper towel four times and fix it in the center with a stapler. We put a round pattern on it and circle it. Cut the workpiece along the intended line. It turns out a round part, consisting of 8 tiers of paper (4 tiers - this is the addition of factory napkins, and 4 tiers - we folded the napkin). We compress each tier with our fingers to the middle (to the stapler bracket). It turns out a lush flower, like a rose. How many such blanks are needed to make one topiary from a napkin? And it depends on the size of the ball and the template. Perform 12-15 pieces first, and then add more as needed.
   
3. Ball decoration . We glue flowers close to each other over the entire area of ​​the round base. The voids between them can be decorated with the same roses, only smaller in diameter. You can also fill them with sisal fibers, artificial flowers or sweets.
4. Attaching the topiary to the container. Dilute the gypsum, pour it into a pot (plastic cup, ceramic cup). Insert the tree trunk in the center and hold for several minutes. Leave the product to dry completely.
5. Stage decoration . To make a beautiful topiary from a napkin, you still need to decorate the barrel and container in an original way. Wrap the branch with tape or ribbon, glue on top a few beads or decorative buttons in the form of butterflies, ladybugs. Wrap the container with wrapping paper, secure with tape. Hide the gypsum under the tree under a layer of beads or glass beads. You can put there a small figure of a bird or some kind of animal. The crown of the tree can also be decorated with birds and butterflies.
