Surface preparation and primer
Crumb rubber sports coatings are usually applied to a wooden, concrete or asphalt base. For good adhesion, the surface must be cleaned of dirt. If the coating is laid indoors, applying a monolithic layer will be required. It provides resistance to mechanical stress. First, the site is covered with ADV-61 putty to close the pores. A reinforcing mesh layer is laid on it. After 24 hours, the ADV-61 compound is poured. Thickness 1.5-2.5 mm. Alignment is performed with a squeegee and a notched trowel.
When performing work, the optimum air temperature is +20 degrees, humidity 80%. Operation of the site is possible a week after laying the cover.
Final stage
When the main work is done, markings should be applied to the sports coating of rubber crumb. It must be dry and clean. Air temperature during staining - from +5 degrees. The marking is carried out by a mixture of the following components: ADV-17 oligomer, coloring paste, and catalyst. Application is carried out by roller or brush. Consumption per 1 m 2 - 200 grams of the mixture. Staining must be done in two layers.
In order for the rubber coating to be more resistant to wear and have a beautiful appearance, it is coated with ADV-63E varnish 24 hours after installation. Application is carried out by a velor roller in two layers. Consumption per 1 m 2 - 0.05 kg of varnish. A break between layers of 3-6 hours.
