2. Cut out the same rectangles from the newspaper.
3. Lay the paper in front of you vertically.
4. Put a wand on a sheet. It should be just below the middle of the page.
5. Apply a thin layer of glue along the top edge of the paper.
6. Wrap the bottom of the paper so that the wooden stick is inside.
7. Roll the paper tightly into the tube.
8. Press it lightly against the work surface so that the edge adheres well.

The tube is ready! To make crafts from it, wait until it dries.

How to make newspaper tubes in another way? Another embodiment of their manufacture is described below.

1. Fold the newspaper in half several times and cut it with a clerical knife.
2. Take a wooden stick, pencil or thick needle.

4. Twist the tube.

Here we will describe the technique of weaving newspaper tubes for beginners using the example of a basket:

1. Prepare two equally sized sheets of thick cardboard, double-sided tape, PVA glue, newspaper tubes and scissors (picture 1).
2. Take one sheet of cardboard and stick double-sided tape along its edge (picture 2).
3. Lay out newspaper tubes around the cardboard perimeter at a distance of a couple of centimeters from each other (picture 3).
4. Lubricate the other sheet of cardboard with glue (picture 4).
5. Glue the second sheet of cardboard on top of the tubes (picture 5).
6. Make one very long newspaper tube.
7. Bend the new tube in half and put it on the left or right (picture 6).
8. Weave one row of pigtails from a horizontal tube. That is, its halves braid vertical crosswise. If the tube is over, then insert a new one into it, first dropping glue on the tip.
9. Now put on the bottom of a box suitable in size and lift the tubules vertically.
10. Using clothespins, attach the tubes to the walls of the box.
11. Now make rows of pigtails. You can capture with a tube not one, but two vertical membranes.
12. Weave in this way several rows. Their number depends on how high the basket you want.
13. There are two ways to complete the basket:

• We stick out the sticking vertical tubes right next to the last horizontal row and drip PVA glue into the place of the cut. We catch the clothespin and wait for it to dry completely.
• Sticking out tubes cut to ten centimeters. Then we round each adjacent one and bend it in a loop inside. We also drip glue and catch a clothespin.

To keep the product as long as possible, it must be processed. To do this, mix in proportions one to one PVA glue and acrylic paint. Take a wide paint brush (it will be more convenient to work with it) and paint the basket in this order:

• inner walls;
• inner bottom;
• external sides;
• outer bottom.

Optionally, the basket can be varnished.

Round baskets are made in the same way. Just based on oval-shaped cardboard.

Newspaper flowers

Now imagine a master class on how to make a flower from newspaper tubes, for beginners:

1. Fold one newspaper tube in half and give it the shape of a petal (Pictures 1 and 2).
2. Glue the ends of two tubes to the middle of the petal - one vertically and the other horizontally (picture 3).
3. Wrap the horizontal tube in front of the arc, behind the vertical one, in front of the arc, as in picture 4.
4. Turn the weave and continue in the same way (picture 5).
5. Insert new tubes if necessary.
6. Stop weaving by wrapping the guide tube around a vertical one and fastening all ends with glue (picture 6).
7. Make only four to five of these petals (picture 7).
8. Then tear the newspaper into small pieces and soak it for a couple of hours in water.
9. When the newspaper turns into slurry, pour out excess water and add PVA glue.
10. Mix everything (picture 8).
11. Make a cake out of the resulting mixture. This will be the center of the flower.
12. While the center is dry, prepare the petals.
13. Give them a more natural shape and paint with a mixture of acrylic and PVA glue.
14. When all the parts have dried, they must be assembled.
15. Take the glue gun and glue the petals to the back of the middle (picture 9).
16. Glue the pre-painted stalk.

A flower from newspaper tubes is ready!

Vase for flowers from tubes

We offer you the technique of weaving newspaper tubes, the product is a flower vase:

1. Take the four tubules.
2. Lay the two upright.
3. Weave through two vertical horizontal tubes (picture 1).
4. Lift the right half of the lower horizontal tube and cling to it all the rest (pictures 2-5).
5. Perform the same way all the way down (Pictures 6-11).
6. Then begin to lift the ducts that are braided (picture 12).
7. Bend each one next to it. Insert new ones if necessary.
8. Insert a bottle of sparkling water into the craft and braid it. If the eggplant is too high, then simply cut off the extra height. You can skip this item if you are not going to use the craft as a real vase and pour water there.
9. Tap the wall of newspaper tubes to the desired height.
10. Finish weaving in one of the ways that were described in the workshop on creating a rectangular basket.

The vase is ready! If desired, it can be painted and varnished.
