From year to year, tailors and designers developed items of military clothing on which, starting in 1901, the Burberry brand name began to appear - a knight on a horse in full gear and with a spear at the ready. This symbolism still exists today and means continuous forward movement, as evidenced by a short Latin inscription on the flag - “Prorsum”.
