To date, there are numerous transformer dresses, the patterns of which differ from each other. Depending on the cut, the model can undergo both slight changes and capital transformations.
The pattern of the dress-transformer "Emami", for example, in addition to its main purpose, allows you to combine in one element of clothing a tunic, a skirt, a sundress and even breeches in all kinds of variations. "Emami" is a large piece of fabric with an elastic waistband and long ties, due to which the model is attached in a wide variety of options. If you want to sew such a transformer dress yourself, its pattern will not be especially difficult. You will need a piece of fabric (best supplex) with a width of 150 cm and a length of about 2.1-2.2 meters, part of which (15 cm wide and a length depending on the waist of the future owner) will go on to create a belt.
It will also be necessary to make a long cord from the same material or purchase separately. Arrange our long rectangular free piece of biflex vertically. Sew on the belt from above, from below we make a drawstring, into which we insert the lace. When these simple manipulations are completed, it will be possible to try on our transformer dress. The Emami pattern is so simple that it does not make much sense to bring its drawing.
When creating a transformer dress, the pattern of which is based on this model, it should be borne in mind that the elastic part will be located not only at the waist, but also, under various combinations, under or even above the chest. Therefore, if a girl has a
large bust, with the cut of the belt, this fact must be taken into account. Otherwise, either the possibilities of transforming the dress will be slightly reduced, or the convenience of the model will suffer. For example, to create variants of a suit, which implies the location of the belt above the chest, it will not be enough just to move the corresponding part from the waist to the proper place. Instead, you will have to completely remove the element of clothing and put it on over your head.
Infinity is also quite popular - a transformer dress, the pattern of which allows you to change the upper part, leaving the bottom untouched. Therefore, the problem described above is irrelevant for this model. "Infinity" is a dress consisting of a skirt and two wide strips of fabric attached to it with a belt. Due to the latter, the model is being transformed. You can come up with quite a few different combinations that refresh the outfit. However, in the case of Infinity, the dress will remain a dress, no matter what you do with it.
In addition to the model described above, there are other patterns that differ from it in some details. But they are all built on almost the same principle: an unchanged or slightly subject to adjustment bottom (skirt) and variable top. Therefore, for lovers of bold, original and multi-functional solutions, of course, a transforming dress, based on the Emami pattern, will become a more attractive choice.
