So, you decided to make a harness from beads. Weaving patterns for beginners should choose the simplest. Firstly, it is worth starting with the usual cylindrical shape of the cord using beads of the same size. Secondly, it is better for the first time to try weaving from beads of one shade or a maximum of two, three. With two colors, you can string beads through one. If you do not like to count the elements of the pattern, you can arrange the beads randomly. This also applies to two- and multi-color options.
How to crochet
To make a harness from beads, crochet weaving patterns can be used different, but the principle of operation will always be preserved. The sequence of work will be as follows:
- Unwind the desired length of thread from the ball. It is usually calculated as follows: multiply the length of the product by the size of each circle according to the number of beads + provide some distance for fixing the threads and for starting work. If necessary, you can add the length of the thread and beads.
- String all the beads in the desired sequence on the thread so that you get a patterned bead cord. Crochet or needle weaving patterns are usually presented in the form of strips consisting of colored cells that follow the pattern.
- At the beginning of the thread left before the beaded beads, make the first loop, as for ordinary knitting.
- Tie an air loop.
- Perform the following loops, grabbing one bead each.

- Separate the same amount of beads for the second row.
- Slide the first bead close to the loop on the hook, thread the hook into the first air loop with a bead from the first row in front of and above it. Similarly, the thread should also hold. Knit a half-column. If everything is done correctly, then the new bead gently "sits down" in the right place of the previous row. If you alternate two colors through one bead, then the colors of the elements of each row should match.
- All other rows are knitted similarly.
- Knit the last row without beads, fasten the thread inside the bundle.
Use a needle
If you have never been involved in crocheting and you do not have these tools, you can also use the usual beadwork tools. They are also not difficult to make a very beautiful bead cord. Any weaving patterns with a needle will do, and the work is done as follows:
- Step back 10 - 15 cm from the edge of the fishing line. Using a needle, string the beads for the first row (odd amount). Pass the left tip of the fishing line through the first bead, fixing the beginning of weaving. The first row is ready.
- String one bead on the fishing line and thread the needle through the element of the first row, located through one. Also act until the ring of the second row is closed.
- In the third row, weaving occurs with a "second layer" in the spaces of second row beads.
- Subsequent rows are performed similarly until the desired product length is obtained.
- Fasten the fishing line, attach the appropriate accessories for fastening, or connect the resulting tube into a ring with a fishing line, and then fix the fishing line.
As you can see, weaving with a needle with a fishing line is not more complicated than a hook and thread.
