If you just picked up a set for weaving today and have a poor idea of ​​what can be made of small rubber bands, try first to create an unusual, but very simple bracelet yourself. It is called "Rings."
For weaving you will need black and colored “Fanny Lum”, a hook, a clip and, of course, a slingshot machine. If you have collected everything you need, you can go directly to the action.
How to weave "Rings"
- Throw a black rubber band on both columns of the slingshot machine and use the hook to twist it in the middle with an eight.
- Throw three “Fanny Lum” of any other contrasting color (for example, yellow) on the left column of the slingshot.
- On top of the yellow rubber bands, scribble the black, but do not twist it.
- Now you need to carefully throw the bottom black loop into the center of the machine alternately from both columns. Get the first fragment of the bracelet.
- For further weaving, repeat the steps, starting with throwing new rubber bands of different colors and ending with the formation of a black loop. - At the other end of the bracelet, gently hook the red auxiliary loops and pull them up.
- Cut the red Fanny Lum with sharp scissors and remove them from the product. Now you can fix the decoration with a clip.

What can be done with hair bands similar to Fanny Lum? You can try to copy models designed for weaving from real rubber bands for children and youth creativity. But it’s better to take into account the shortcomings of hair accessories (they are usually thinner and more fragile than Fanny Lum).
