Assassins Creed has dramatically changed the way stealth action games are played . To date, the series has seven episodes that have been released on all major gaming platforms, and one that is now available only to owners of the XBOX 360 and PS3.
Assassins Creed. All parts in order
The first part of the game was remembered by an unprecedented system of movement and interaction with residents of cities (there are five of them in the game). A crowd can be a salvation if a player is chased by a guard. But not everything is so simple, the townspeople themselves will call the guard, being scared.
The developers created the first game in which parkour became so simple - just run to the wall, and Altair himself will catch on a convenient ledge. The player will constantly think about where to hide, decide whether they can quickly escape from their position, go unnoticed, and of course, can’t do without battles.
There are no linear tasks in the game, each can be completed in several ways. Do what you want, go where you want - the main slogan of the project.

If we compare the second part of the game with the first, it must be said that both the visual range and the gameplay have stepped far forward. A lot of work has been done by the developers. They took into account previous errors and added new features.
- Now the main character is able to swim.
- You can enjoy the flight for a short time, but for this you need to make special devices.
- The player can use different armor and weapons, thereby adjusting the character to different styles of the game.
- The world has become much more alive. Someone sells goods, someone repairs a cart, someone builds a house.
Brotherhood
The next game is less popular in the Assassins Creed series. All parts in order, however, cannot be described without it. The Brotherhood of Blood continues the plot of the second game. The main character will remain Ezio, who will not only avenge his father, but also create a strong organization, which has become a strong shield on the way of the Templars.
Brotherhood takes place in Rome. Ezio's main task is to protect the mystical apple, which subjugates the souls. And now this artifact can be used in the game world.
Revelations
Revelations - the final chord of the history of Ezio. Here, the protagonist will appear before the players pretty old, not wanting revenge. Its main goal is to search for answers to the riddles that Altair left behind.
Almost all events will take place in Constantinople, but to complete some tasks you will have to go to the countryside.
The innovations include the possibility of upgrading the hidden blade (which, if the player wishes, will become a hook for lowering the ropes), improved leveling of mercenaries of the order, and the ability to craft (developers added more than 300 recipes).
Number 3
Assassin Creed 3 is an independent part that continues the story of Desmont Miles. The historical hero will be the Indian Connor Kenway, who lived during the American Revolution.
There will be not many locations in the game, but very many, among them:
- New York.
- Boston.
- Forests located between these cities.
- Lexington
- Concord.
- Valley Forge.
- The native village of Connor.
I must say that this is not a complete list, I will be in the game levels that do not have real geographical analogues. And each location is one and a half to two times more than the whole of Rome from Brotherhood.
Black flag
Assassin Creed 4: Black Flag is the game of the series in which the developers revised the game concept. Six parts in a row, the players were invited to do the same thing, only the scenery changed, respectively, and the public’s interest in the project was reduced.
The black flag showed the protagonist atypical for the series - the pirate Edward Canway. There is no nobility in him; he will easily commit a negative act, if he receives profit. The appearance of this character breathed a second life in Assassins Creed. All parts in order previously shared by Asassinov and the Templars as follows: the former are necessarily good, the latter are bad.
But do not forget about the most important thing in the game - about sea battles. Now the sea is the home of the protagonist. On the ship will have to spend more than half of all gameplay time. At the same time, the battles were made so high-quality that at first I didn’t even want to moor and plunge into the maelstrom of the main plot company.
Rogue
Rogue is a game that has not yet been visited by PC gamers, but already bored the owners of the PS3 and XBOX 360. This part has received almost no innovations. History tells about the events of 1751. The scenery will be North America. Patrick Cormack, who participated in the confrontation between India and France, receives a dangerous mission, but he is not driven by a creed, but by personal goals.
Unity
The plot will unfold in Paris. The protagonist is Arno Dorian, a young aristocrat.
The developers completely rewrote the code of the game engine, wanting to create a competitive product for nextgen consoles. Thanks to this, the gameplay has changed. The improvements affected the player’s movements, stealth modes, the combat system, the possibilities of interaction with the crowd. Also, the game has overgrown with RPG elements, for example, the skill tree first appeared.
In addition to mechanics, developers also touched on the visual part, which places high system requirements on the hardware. I must say that the players did not like this state of affairs. Undoubtedly, the picture has become better in comparison with previous parts. If you compare it with other nextgen-projects, then Unity graphics often lose, but for its work requires more hardware resources.
Unity is the last game in the Assassins Creed series, all parts are described in order of release. Ubisoft has already announced several follow-ups, and therefore, perhaps very soon, this list will become incomplete.
