Every girl dreams that her doll has an elegant dress. And it’s not necessary to be able to sew. An original costume can be created using multi-colored elastic bands. The item of clothing created from them will be unique and very stylish. Having mastered simple technology, you can make a whole collection for your doll, consisting of dresses, swimwear, handbags and even shoes. And it’s not necessary to purchase a special machine for weaving, some things are perfectly done without it. The article will discuss how to make clothes for dolls from rubber bands on a slingshot.
What items are needed for work
If the craftswoman was not yet familiar with the technology of weaving from gum, it is best to use a machine tool and a hook. So the principle of work will be more clear. Before you sit down to work, you need to purchase the following accessories:
· Elastic bands of different colors;
Hook;
· Machine tool.
Instruction: how to weave doll clothes from elastic bands
1. Erasers of the selected color are folded together and put on adjacent pegs, while they need to be twisted so that the figure eight.
2. The first step is performed on the entire circumference of the machine.
3. The gum with a flip is put on the remaining pegs and the actions described above are performed.
4. To continue work, you need to take a hook and use it to start picking up the loops located at the bottom (where there are a pair of elastic bands) so that they can then be thrown into the central part.
5. You will need to add the irises on the peg as in the first step, but in this case they do not need to be twisted.
6. Then the actions are performed, as described in the fourth stage, namely twisted gums are picked up.
7. The skirt is woven in a circle, and the actions described in the fifth and sixth steps are performed several times to get the desired length.
8. At the last stage, weaving is reduced by a simple way of throwing the rubber bands located on the extreme posts to the central part to complete the work.

How to use a slingshot
Using such a useful tool, you can create a hair band that will be combined with clothing made from rubber bands for dolls. Here you need to have at hand the following things:

Weaving technology
First of all, you need to take a couple of rubber bands to twist them to get the figure eight and put them on the slingshot pegs.
Then put on irises with a different color.
The loops located below on the left peg are thrown in the central part of a product. Then you need to put on a couple more rubber bands, but they do not need to twist.
From the right peg the loops of elastic bands are removed in the central part. And then weaving is repeated as already described, but for the left peg.
Erasers are added in the amount needed to get the required rim length.
To complete the creation of the decoration, combined with clothes for dolls made of rubber bands, you need to throw in the central part a couple of loops located at the bottom of the product, and then transfer the loops located on the left peg to the opposite.

A few tricks
Based on the read, it may seem that the craft will be quite wide and then will not work with the doll. But this is easily fixable, a thinner bezel is created as follows. It does not use paired rubber bands, but only one that is worn on the slingshot pegs, but with two turns.
In order for the rim to have narrow ends, the work is done in one color variation, and only then rubber bands of a different color are added, and at the very end the weaving is bent in half.
